A loud noise, like a rifle shot, as the chair passes over the anchor bolts. Not always, but 99% of the time. Very slow to start from the bottom of the stairs. At first only a few seconds, but I was told this was normal. Now getting worse - as much as twenty seconds or more and five separate tries to start the chair. Feels like it is not going to ascend. Eventually, it does move up but very frustrating. I do not like it nearly as much as my old one.

I have had the stair lift for a little over two years. Shortly after the warranty ended, I started having problems. I believe it is with the cables not charging. I need to have a repair. This should not break down this fast. Not for what it costs. Now I have to spend hundreds more on repairs. Would not recommend.

Purchased the Bruno Elan SRE 3050 straight stairlift. Had it installed late February 2021. I called head office to inquire if the seat height is adjustable and if we could do it on our own or did we need a to call the people that installed it . No one was able to help me with this inquiry. In one of your manuals it states " adjustable seat height for optimal comfort". I just wanted clarification if this applied to the ELAN SRE 3050 . The reason why I called head office was, that I had called about this issue to the original company that installed it and they said they would come out to have a look and also stated it might not be possible even though I stated to them that in the manual it said that the seat height is adjustable . Unfortunately it is almost the end of April and they have not even made the effort to come out to check it.

The chair broke down after only two weeks and the arms fall down way to easily

Customer service is fine. The problem is is quality of chair. 1/ chair dose not charge when at the top position with chair turn to get off it has to be put back in riding position to charge. 2/ Radio circuit board not working for remotes to work properly. Don Reid

I would have liked it to go up the landing a little more my pt is kind of worried that i cant turn the chair my knees hit the banaster and i have to lift the arm rest shes affaid i might fall down the stirs

Hi, The on the chair on the arm rest is dangerous for the elderly. It stick out and if slightly touch it moves. This happen to my 87 year old mother ,who the fell! Why you would have leaver on the arm rest stick out like that is a law suite waiting to happen!

Option to swivel chair at top and bottom lacking. Not explained during design phase
