If I could give negative 10 stars I would at this point. Thursday May 1 - Deposit for Bruno Chair with Lifeway Mobility of Phoenix, told install would be 4-6 weeks as chair with electronic swivel needed to be built or something along those lines Received a call on May 22 to schedule installation, 1st available install was June 4 (almost 2 full weeks away), still within the initial window when signing/paying deposit. Wednesday June 4 - Installation of Chair and final payment Chair stops working on June 17, part required, tech needed to order a part, told the part would be in by Friday June 17. I contacted the dealer regarding the status of the part, now told part will be in the week of June 30, 1st available install date is July 1 (clearly not all that important to get the issue resolved) Tech repairs the chair with a part on July 1, we test the chair with the Tech on premise, it stops at the top of the stairs and the tech attempts to resolve the issue, which he does. We are then able to use the Chair until the evening of July 3 when the Chair just stops working completely at the top of the stairs, doesn't swivel, won't go down, is partially blocking the stairs. We contact customer service on July 4 (knowing they will be closed but hoping that they can come out on Sat July 5 or Sun July 6) to get the chair working again. Tech comes out on Sat July 5 and gets the chair moved to the bottom of the stairs so that it is at least out of the way. The chair is non operational but mostly out of the way. Tech needs to return to contact Mfg Technical support for assistance/guidance and further troubleshooting, we are told tech will return on Mon July 6, get a call that the Tech can't return until July 7. Tech lets us know that a "New" chair is required and will be here ASAP, it's now July 20 (Sunday) still no chair and no word on when the "New" Chair is going to arrive. In the meantime my mother who is 88 years old and wanted a Chair, is/was happy when the chair works. We've had the chair now for a total of 50 days, spent in excess of $5k with the Dealer. The chair has NOT been working for 32 of those 50 days or 64% of the time the chair has not worked. The other day my mom, again 88 years old, attempted to climb the stairs, she slipped/fell from stair #4 and bumped into the NON working Bruno Stairlift at the bottom of the stairs. All I can say here is that this is a lawsuit if I ever saw one. I'm not sure if the issue is with the Dealer (Lifeway Mobility) or the Manufacturer (Bruno) but this is a major issue. My brother was told by someone back in early July that this was a very important issue to them and it was being escalated. In my mind escalation means overnighting the parts necessary to make the chair work, that is what a business owner does. Again, not sure if the issue is Bruno or the Dealer or both but if I could give negative "stars" I would.
