Bru MateReviews of brumate.com

I ordered 2 Brumate trio’s which appear to be ok. I also ordered a Nav XL which turned out to be too large for me. Apparently, because it was on sale, it was not returnable but that was not noted when I ordered it. I also ordered the mystery item which was supposed to have a value of $25-$40. My mystery item was a flask-24.99 and not something I can use and apparently that is not returnable either. A friend of mine had received a mystery item with their order and it was a really nice beverage cup, so I took a chance…never again.

We have loads of Brumates and they really are decent quality overall. Well made, proper rubber bottoms, no "sharp-edge" lip when you're drinking without a lid, class leading heat retention and the screw-on type leakproof lids 100% work. The lids do have a habit of getting jammed in the cups (whether through expansion or accidental misthreading) they are easy enough to get off once you get the knack. Plus you tend to learn pretty quickly how to avoid getting them jammed in the first place. HOWEVER... if you break your lid or it becomes worn out (this happens a lot - we have a stack of lids in various states of uselessness - cracked, crazed, fogged, dropped, sealing ring loose etc.) you literally have zero chance of ever getting a replacement. BevLock lids are NEVER in stock at BruMate.com (I've given up after months of waiting) and you can't buy them anywhere else. Plus some lids - including for current models like the 32oz "Nav" mug - aren't even listed. This problem is even worse when you are a non-USA customer. Really great product let down massively by crappy after sales. No doubt they just want you to buy another whole mug/tumbler instead of a replacement lid, which I absolutely refuse to do on principle. Companies like these who use "saving the planet" as a sales tactic make an absolute mockery of themselves with nonsense like this. It's a shame because the products themselves are decent and would otherwise last a long time.

I’ve purchased five different BrüMate products. For personal reasons I need a beverage container that is leakproof and they do that better than any other I’ve seen. Their decorative paint always peels off more easily than any others I’ve owned and is their weakest point … until now. They have Absolutely NO Customer Service. Whether email or chat they don’t care to serve customers. No human contact at all! Sad, but the best leakproof product won’t find this returning customer … returning.

Great looking travel mug. The lid works well and has not leaked . I've owned the mug for 6 months. Paper thin metal. Once you drop your mug for the first time it will never be the same again. My mug is extra tippy from accidental drops. Should have made them with a higher quality metal.

I ordered this to use on my school bus run I have the toddy xl for coffee in the am and the hydration bottle for water in the pm they do wonderfully coffee stays hot for about 3 hours and warm the other 2 hours never cold all morning ,the bottle has ice in it allday I refill it 3 times with water during the day and ice is still there at night when I dump it. I have yeti cups and brumate works much better all around the reason for 3 stars is the paint around the lids on both items started chipping with 2 or 3 days and the black piece on the cup completely broke off the cup on day 3 absolutely disappointed to pay this much and it brake so soon yes I could order a new lid but a cup with this price shouldn't brake or chip in a weeks time sadly I was so impressed I order gifts after receiving mine and I do believe I'll send them back when I get them.

Great quality BUT the opening where you drink from doesn't line up right when you pick it up by the handle. Try holding it by the handle and the opening doesn't line up, it's twisted. I bought this because of the handle (bad arthritis) and I have a hard time holding coolers without handle. Beautiful product, not user friendly.

I absolutely love the Brumate products, my problem is not with them. Brumate also has the best customer service!! My issue is with their shipping, it is HORRIBLE! If you want something don't expect to receive it quickly, if you need something order a month in advance. I was to receive my order 2 days ago, it still isn't here, I received a tracking number that gave updates for a few days then went silent. When I called FedEx I got a computer that told me the company selected FedEx ground economy and there is no available information.

I have always loved this company and referred a few friends/family as well who are now avid buyers. This past time I ordered I received customer service that was unusual to the company. I ordered the day after Thanksgiving and did not receive my order until after Christmas. I contacted both Route (with no response even after my issue was approved after the 15th day of no movement) and Brumate customer service, in which I was told to keep waiting and my est. delivery date was the 24th. My package did not move for weeks on end, I seen multiple people offered replacements etc in order for it to arrive by Christmas where as my complaint I felt was completely ignored. I would have ordered a completely new order if I would have known it would be delivered by Christmas but every-time I emailed I received the same response.. it’s in route and your delivery date is the 24th. After not receiving it on the est delivery date I reached out again and I was told it was still in route yet again. I will continue to use this company still because of the great products but, I do wish that everyone had received the same awesome customer service experience that I had seen others post about.
