One of Brumate's big selling points is their 'limited lifetime warranty'. But upon using the warranty for a defect, I was told that they wouldn't send me a replacement part. I've put in for 4 replacement Leap lids due to the lid cracking in the exact same manner repeatedly ( a clear defect since it's cracking from inserting the straw as intended), and 3 of them were honored. It seems they no longer wish to honor their end of the bargain. No part of the warranty says there is a limit to how many replacement parts, and, in fact, calls out covering 'defects in craftsmanship'. Don't buy from them if you want a product that lasts or a company that honors their word.

You know the company is a great company to work with when you have an issue most of the time the product is a good product. However the lids are garbage. I have 2 40 Oz cups and each one of them. The lid breaks where you hook the straw in. They need to do something better with that. It's a piece of garbage and then when you go to buy a new lid they want $15. Sorry $14.95 plus $10 in shipping and Hannah. So the lid is actually $24.95 for something. This should not have broke the first place. Now I realize my cup is 6 months old. I realize that it's made out of plastic on the lid, but good night people come on. Let's get something fixed and make it right

The design is great, it really is spill proof, but it does not keep drinks cold! A cold drink might last 4 hours, tops, before it is warm and the ice is melted. Huge disappointment

Have the 15oz MUV mug and the plastic flipper on the lid broke. I text BruMate about getting a replacement but no one seems to be responding. Not very good customer service

Although brumate looks really sleek and durable and pretty, mine chipped and they wouldnt offer to repair (understandable), but did offer me a 10$ coupon for me to replace it. I did go back and used it to purchase a new one . I received the new one with SCRATCHES. I have been emailing them to complain and 3 days later i still havent gotten a response. Their powder coating sucks. Id much rather get a stanley. Very poor customer service and no responsible resolution

I purchased two bronze leopard cups. The clear coat is peeling of these life time guaranteed cups. Do not purchase them. The company refuses to do ANYTHING for the issue. Their customer service is non existing. There cups were not used in the dishwasher, in a bag with loose change or even mis used. Don't fall for their "Life time guarantee" it's a lie!

I have a few Brumate products but the era and the rotera I am not happy with at all. Had to replace them both water did not stay cold in them. Ice melted with about 4 hrs. I do not recommend these at all. I like the fact that the don’t leak but useless to keep something cold. I have had good experiences with the customer service but as far as these to products. 👎

Purchased the BruMate Rotera for Christmas as a gift. Within two days of gifting the Rotera water bottle, it was brought back to me leaking, straw not opening, etc. The issue is that the gear design on the inside of the lid has very weak teeth and if you begin using the water bottle as designed, it quickly breaks down the gear system and the straw is stuck, unable to be opened. Very clearly a design flaw. The water bottle also leaks from every possible outlet. Overall, very little design testing went into this. I reached out to support two times, both times were ignored. When I messaged another one in response, i was asked to submit videos of it not working, after doing that, the email was again ignored. I ended up abandoning hope and making a decision that this product and their support are made for each other, broken and doomed to failure.
