Your policy of substituting items is unacceptable. I recently placed an order and NOTHING that was listed on your website was actually in the gift box. You substituted with cheap, unappetizing alternatives. Would not recommend and have submitted a dispute with American Express.

I ordered the Wooden Cheese Board Wine Gift set, which cost $135.99. The product was described as "A premium wine gift basket featuring a bottle of wine and an assortment of gourmet snacks presented in a wooden half barrel storage bin with a glass and bamboo cheese board and knife." What came was a crate full of cheap, Walmart brand cookies, chocolate, and pretzels. They substituted the glass and bamboo cheese board with a tiny, cheap, wooden one. The truffle salami was replaced with pepperoni. There were no chocolate covered espresso beans and definitely no gourmet snacks of any kind. I called to complain and they offered to refund me 30% of the "effected items". Which resulted in a $30 refund for me. They said it's their policy that they can substitute items with similar items they have in stock. Nothing I got was even close to what was described on their website. So now I'm stuck with a box full of garbage, that I cannot give as a gift. The only thing that was as advertised was the wine. So I guess I'll wrap that and use it as a gift. Do not waste your money!!!

Very disappointing experience with your company. My order failed to arrive on the requested delivery date (still haven't received) , and customer service offered nothing but excuses and a generic apology. Instead of taking responsibility, you hide behind the shipping policies and refuse compensation. When you’re ordering a gift for a special occasion, timing matters. Unreliable delivery and poor customer service. I would not recommend.

Was very disappointment with the condition of my recent order. I ordered an assortment of beers for a raffle basket. When the package arrived it had a damaged beer bottle. Not the worst. Understand that glass breaks during shipping. However, every bottle in the package had melted peanuts stuck to it and required thorough cleaning. Considering the price paid, I expected these items to be packed with care. Instead, the product appeared as though it had been stored in a hot warehouse for an extended period. Additionally, the gift box was missing from the package. Definitely would not order from this company again and recommend you don’t either.

Complete bait and switch! The website description and what you receive are 1000% not even close. No whiskey; only the glasses, and every other item in the "crate" is replaced with expired grocery store items. Customer service will double down on their right to replace items as needed. Would never suggest using them under any circumstances.

I did not receive what I ordered! A substituted 75% of what I wanted with items that were not nearly as nice and were much cheaper quality. Do not order from these people because they do nothing when you call to complain, except say that they can apparently substitute anything without your knowledge and you’re supposed to be ok with it.

This company is horrible. I purchased a certain bourbon for my son. We are from Kentucky (the bourbon state) and they sent a generic Irish whiskey. Anyone that knows bourbon, knows that it is not the same as Irish whisky. When I contacted them, they asked for pics only to then say that it was replaced with a comparable liquor because they were out of the one I chose. They said I agreed to a substitution when I bought the basket. Yes, to a comparable one which this was not. They are going against their own policy and also need to know what inventory they have instead of selling something they do not have. They would make no refunds or replacements. It is a very shady company. I will never use them or recommend them to anyone.

I am so disappointed in the Brocrates company. The crate which came as a cutting board with items from the Dollar Store!!! My friend is a VP of a major tech company. I gave clear instructions for it to shipped directly to my friend by Aug. 11 and it arrived to my address today! Smuckers Jelly and Crunch-n-Munch!! I want a full refund!
