Service is a problem
Good price. Good buying experience. Service is another story. We were told to bring our new RV in after 90 days and let them know of any defects/problems we found and they would take care of them. When we took it in we were told they don't fix anything, just look for leaks on the roof. They did fix a couple of minor issues. We made an appointment to have the entry door and slide out aligned and have the heater circuit board replaced. We were told they needed the RV all day to fix these issues. We live out of town so we rented a car, reserved a hotel room and dropped the RV off the night before our appointment. The day of the appointment they called at 4:30 pm to say the RV was ready. The paperwork said the RV went in the shop for repairs at 8:24 am and came out at 10:24 am. The service manager said that was a mistake and it was in all day. All they did to fix the entry door was install new weather stripping and it still isn't tight. They didn't do anything to the slide. It still needs to be aligned. According to the slide manufacturer it was installed incorrectly at the factory and needs to be taken apart and put back together correctly. That is very time consuming and is why they needed the RV all day. The repairs they actually made should have only taken 2 to 3 hours - which coincides with their paperwork. We spent a lot of money to insure they had time to make the needed repairs and now we have to go through it again. Coachmen is working with us to have the repairs made at another dealer even though the warranty has expired. We don't feel Broadmoor RV's service department has been honest with us.
