In March 1997 Broadmoor RV was born. It started out with very humble beginnings next door to the Broadmoor Factory Outlet Mall. The Parts and Service Departments were run out of shipping containers and the sales office was run out of a rented space inside the mall. A few short weeks after Broadmoor RV's creation, disaster struck. Those native to the Tri-Cities know the destruction our windstorms can bring. The Easter Morning Storm of 1997 was one of those storms: destroying several tent trailers off the lot of a dealership just starting out. In its infancy Broadmoor RV was able to make 7 sales in its first month of business. That same year in August the dealership found its new and permanent home on two and one half acres across the street from where it all started. Two and one half acres grew over the years to 22+ acres; over nine times the size. The service department has become recognized nationally as one of the best available with over 50% of technicians being master certified. From 7 units sold a month it now sells close to 1600 annually. The lastest addition of 12 more service bays, a paint booth, collision center and expanded parts department encouraged the addition of SuperStore to the name. Broadmoor RV SuperStore has Super People, Super Service and Super Prices all in one place. Come in and let them prove it!Broadmoor RV is conveniently located near the areas of Richland, West Richland, Kennewick, Pasco and Walla Walla.

I thought I had a final sale amount agreed to on the phone, when I showed up it was almost $700 more than I thought we had agreed to. Comment was come down to the office after we had discussed the amount - nothing mentioned as to what they really were going to offer. As I was in a time crunch to get an RV, I agreed to it. They never called back to see if I liked the RV, had any issues or questions, etc. I also called the sales individual and he never returned my call. Bottom line, I will never buy another RV from Broadmoor or recommend them to anyone.

Sale's team awesome, service department... needs a lot of work
This was a tough one.
Pro's: The sale's staff was amazing to work with, friendly and very professional.
Cons: The service department has been a nightmare to work with. We bought a brand new, 2017 Forest River Salem and it had a few things wrong from the factory... Which happens. Trying to make an appointment to get things fixed was a pain, trying to get through to the service desk, leaving messages, not getting called back. I had to have it in there 3 times within the first several months and each time I had to deal with a very, very rude service agent that always got assigned to my file. I'm huge on customer service and always try to be super nice to anyone that has to deal with the public. This guy always talked down to me, treated me like I was stupid and like I was personally insulting him each time I said something was wrong. It's a trailer, I know he didn't build it. Each thing I said was wrong he would argue with me, then once a tech investigated and validated my concerns, then he would be somewhat nice. Every time I went in he argued with me. It made it even more frustrating that I had to leave my trailer for up to two weeks at a time, it's a 3 hour round trip for me to take it in and I had to miss work two of the times to take it. On the third time I tried to call ahead to say I was bringing it a day early so I wouldn't have to miss work again, but couldn't reach anyone, so I just brought it. They flipped out on me for bringing it a day early.
Bottom line, it's not hard to be nice. If someone who just spent a ton of money buying a brand new trailer has to bring it in, be nice. If they say something is wrong just say "I'm sorry to hear that, we'll take a look at it and see what we can find." See? Easy. Don't instantly turn it into an argument on how the customer must be mistaken or too dumb to use the trailer.
The black water flush out valve: It wasn't working, no water would go in. He argued about it, treated me like I was stupid.... Turns out there was construction debris blocking the line, the line had to be replaced.
The usb charge ports: half weren't working. He didn't believe me. Tech found that half had been wired backwards or not completely.
There were a bunch more of these things, but those are a good example.
It's so easy to create a positive experience, they need to take some lessons on how to treat people from the sale's staff...
Also, if a person who just bought a trailer, especially a new one, has problems, try to get them in right away, don't make them wait weeks to bring it in, get them taken care of right away. Pad the service schedule a little bit to make it happen. It's frustrating to buy a new trailer and then not be able to use it.

My sales-person spent a bit of time …
My sales-person spent a bit of time with me initially but I definitely felt rushed. Overall, happy with the trailer but the service left much to be desired. When the day came to pick the trailer up, I saw my sales-person long enough to say hi and then was passed on to the finance person. The finance person was very nice until I declined the extended warranty, then she turned cold and rushed me through. The person who did the walk through spent very little time with any specific details and even gave me incorrect information with regards to the entertainment system. After my hitch was put on, I did a walk around and found a dent in the trailer skirt. A manager came out and took a picture, told me they would order it right away and call me when it came in. Still waiting 6 months later. I have never gotten a phone call or email to follow up on my experience. The whole purchase was extremely disappointing. I may have to pay a little more next time but I will not purchase from Broadmoor again.

Disappointed
Sale was great... 90 day service follow up was such a total customer service failure... even with 2 weeks detailed email notice, Service Dept could not schedule adequate time to deal with WARRANTY issues... MANY issues left unfixed... I gave up in frustration..... I would never recommend Broadmoor for sales or service!

Good deal on the trailer but not the Service dept
Salesperson was awesome, that’s where it ended , I’d buy an rv again as long as I didn’t have to do anything other than pick it up , I needed my pickup wired with a trailer harness and instead of doing this simple task myself since I was 4.5 hours from home, I let them do it , my mistake I didn’t ask how much , the parts were more than double what I could’ve picked them up at a parts store with buying correct tools near them, then their service charge on top , also they required me to purchase a sway control bar and said how it needed to be adjusted to my vehicle , which they charged $300 when it was $50 at the parts store down the road , it took them less than a minute to unbox it and install it , I could’ve bought this 3 miles from them with instructions on how to install it (which was easy enough my 10 yr old daughter installs correctly all the time ) got it home with a trip permit then had to get trip permits for the next 4 months cause they kept getting the paperwork wrong to the dmv in Oregon. I don’t mind paying the extra that they charged but hire more professional and capable people that would be the only reason to charge these rates , after 6 hours of them having my pickup on a job that should’ve taken an hour (I was led to believe I was first in line) I asked for it back so I could go to the parts store and do it myself , I didn’t have another day to waste 300 miles from home . They hurried and got it done . And acted like I should be thankful.
