However, in looking into your case, it's clear how you were given that impression by the hotel when they double charged you at the time of check out with a new rate. We're so sorry that you've run into this experience so many times, Brian. It is a bit puzzling, as we genuinely work hard to ensure the resources we offer are updated. Our customer service agent was correct in that properties often do not notify us of changes, though it would be exceedingly rare that we list somewhere that was never pet friendly. Once you notified us of this, we would have removed that listing from our site. We hope that you will give us another opportunity to help you in your searches in the future.

Nora, we are so sorry for this experience. Please know that we are looking into your situation and trying to get to the bottom of what happened between our booking partner and the hotel. Although an incident like this is incredibly rare, it is certainly frustrating when it happens to you. In the meantime, we intend to make things right by you and regret that you had to wait from Friday to Monday to know for sure that would be the case. That's simply a training issue we are addressing. We're so sorry that you had this experience. In looking into your situation, it appears that the property you were booking does not actually list the details of their pet policy in their property listing. They can only be found within the rental agreement once a booking has a been initiated, and therefore is not information that our website is able to pull into our own database. As you found, the restrictions are not listed anywhere within their policy section, which is very rare. We take pride in the accuracy of our pet friendly data, and regret that you had this experience. Because you ultimately found this information through the rental agreement and submitted it to us, we've made the correction on our website and we thank you for bringing it to our attention.

We hate to hear you've had a negative experience, Cami. Unless you select a "pay at hotel" accommodation, BringFido processes your payment and the hotel should never ask for additional room payment. In looking into your case, it appears the hotel charged you for your stay once you arrived, rather than only the agreed upon pet fee, so we are currently awaiting a response from them as we work to have you refunded. It looks like you've been in communication with one of our Escalations agents and I hope you will not hesitate to continue speaking with us directly if you have any further questions while we work through this process. I'm afraid these steps are a little slower than usual for many of our booking partners, but we're still hopeful that we'll have a resolution for you soon.
