The Maverick Plug and Play was easy to order, and easier to get on the air. The package was a great deal and I look forward to years of DMR.

I ordered the Maverick plug and play package in January. I am extremely pleased the quality of the radio and everything that came in the package. Being new to DMR, I had to call for customer support a few times. Their customer support is excellent which is rare these days. I highly recommend Bridgecom Maverick and Skybridge.

Got my first license in 1963 or 1964, WA3AIL, upgraded to Tech and then General, moved to Connecticut (license changed to WB2SAP) and then to NYC (license changed to N1BOO). Somebody at the FCC had a real sense of humor, with the AIL-->SAP-->BOO, but I loved tinkering with ham equipment. I always kept one piece of ham gear throughout the years, but the game has changed. I watched what BridgeCom was offering, and finally decided to get a new Maverick to ease back into the field. Easy to order, good price, got here fast and well-packed, and it came with enough instructions so that even a dinosaur like me could get everything together. With a little luck, I might even get back on the air in the next few days!

Great radio, full of features. A little bit a pain to program, but it's a learning curve coming from using Baofeng. Was hoping to get my EMS frequencies like the Baofeng, but it's definitely built to FCC specs 97. Great addition to my Yaesu 991A. Also considering Anytone AT-D578UVIII Plus DMR Tri-Band Amateur Mobile Radio for the truck.

My questions were answered by knowledgeable people, and the equipment came in pretty quickly. I am a first time repeater owner and they helped me immensely.

Fantastic team to deal with. Sales to tech support. Not to mention the DMR system.
