You will have to carry your bags up a set of stairs for the second floor suites. Breakfast is available for an extra charge.
Very nice older home with, in our case, at least, a two-bedroom suite. Roomy and comfortable. The Brickhouse Inn is conveniently located to downtown, neighborhood shops and restaurants and the bus tour location. We walked to all of these places.

People make the differenceWhen I booked the room
When I booked the room, it was hard to tell its size. But the manager, Hannah, was very attentive to our wishes and promptly moved us to a larger room (which, additionally, was on the 2nd floor rather than the 3rd). When she noticed that we had not preordered breakfast the next day, Hannah cooked for us! She is a peach! Such excellent, caring service. OTOH, the champagne social was skimpy.

Lovely old building
Lovely old building. Conveniently located. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The only thing that could be improved is the check in process. A little confusing.

Convenient to everything we wanted to…
Convenient to everything we wanted to see. Room was nice. Hostess could’ve been a little “warmer “as a greeter. Loved the simple breakfast foods that were available, cookies & coffee!

Since we where on the third floor it would have been nice to have help in the morning. No information on breakfast!

Great Bed & Breakfast. Very friendly staff.
My boyfriend and I stayed at the Brickhouse Inn for our 5 year anniversary. We stayed in the New York room. Unintentionally booked during biker week so that was a nice surprise. But the room, the staff, and the food were great. Never had shoofly pie before but theirs got us hooked. Went on a couple Ghost tours and the guides were fanominal. We had a nice time overall, great experience.
