I bought the red oak 48" for my wife and she loves it. Not only is it handmade, but it's made in the USA, which is a big plus in our eyes. Recommended to family and friends. If you want a well made, USA product this is the way to go! Brazos, keep up the good work of making USA products.

I was in the market for a cane or walking stick due to walking issues. I Searched on line and discovered Brazos Walking Sticks and I was amazed at their products. The selection was great, information made my selection of the Walking Stick would be the best for my circumstances, (height, use, and, terrain). I love my new walking stick. Walking stick was well packaged and was delivered in a timely manner. Was not the walking stick I thought I ordered but was very pleased with the stick I received. The curved handle is more comfortable and easier to hold than a straight stick. I find that my hand sweats and the surface becomes a bit slippery. I hope you might have a suggestion for that. The spiral staff gives me a "Gandalf" look. Overall I am very pleased with my Brazos Walking Stick.

What a PERFECT walking stick and what amazing customer service❣ My stick arrived and the compass wasn't working and had a few tiny gaps where it was inset into the stick. I had also noticed that a few of the black template lines had not been sanded out on the stick. Brazos provided a label and I returned it. The artist assigned to reworking my walking stick did a fabulous job (it's always a joy to see and feel the love in a "masterpiece" of a dedicated and passionate craftsman!). This walking stick will become an heirloom in my family. And it will be seen on all the hiking trails of the Monterey Peninsula in California❣ Thank you Brazos... Theresa

I have had two major operations in the last six months: lumbar and hip replacement. I have been using a walker for months. It is useful and convenient, but I confess to disliking the social stigma attached to it. My lady friend bought me a 58" hickory Brazos walking stick yesterday and it is just about perfect! I am 76 years old and am (or was, but intend to be again) an avid hiker. My usual destination is nearby Lake Tahoe with its hundreds of wilderness trails and spectaculr views.
