This is a follow-up to verify my 5 star rating earlier. I've been spraying weeds around my house.. my lot slopes considerably behind the house because I'm on a ridge. I'm 79 and trying to carry 50 lbs on my back and stay balanced, this is the ultimate help. It's definitely long enough to give me support in walking down the slope while spraying. When I go back up the slope, it aids me with additional stability. I clean the stick after each use, using a furniture wax to ensure nothing is remaining on it. I'm very pleased, especially when it was a Christmas gift from my daughters.

I bought 4 walking sticks as xmas gifts for a group of us (that all had sprained ankles or knees) while at the McMenamins Edgefield a few years back. They were all beautiful and each was of different woods and finishes. I have since ordered 2 more for other people. We get so many compliments wherever we go - these are very unique - why use a regular cane or stick when you can get a one-of-a-kind?
