The walking stick itself was very nice but ordering was a mess. Even though I emailed the company minutes after placing my order and did receive a reply quickly, they still screwed up and sent the wrong accessories. :(

The travelers stick arrived within a week and was in good order , thank you. A week earlier I wrote you regarding two previous travelers sticks I have owned : the center piece in both splintered after about a year due to the bronze fittings working loose from the screw. I asked about center piece replacements, but did not receive an answer.

As far as ordering went, it was easy. No issues. I did have a question that I emailed about and never got a response but I figured it out myself. Receiving the product was a bit disappointing too. The packaging tube was missing an entire end. It was just covered by a couple pieces of clear tape. My walking stick could easily fall out if I turned that end down. The Lee Valley Spike was also just loose in the tube. I found the little bag it was supposed to be in closed and empty also floating loose. It looks like nothing was missing though so I'm not mad. I also don't know if that's the fault of the company or the shipping.

Overall good other than two issues... Slight damage at the bottom where foot was put on and the fact that you couldn't highlight the lettering.

Brazos makes a beautiful walking stick that is well made, so 4 stars for that. Bu t not 5 stars as I live in Hawaii and I will need to replace the rubber ferrule on day soon. The cost of the ferrule is $7.99, but shipping to Hawaii is insane starting at $79. An email to Brazos asking if they could send me a half dozen ferrules via fixed rate USP did not result in success. Luckily I have friends coming to my town in Hawaii for vacation, so they are bringing me 6 ferrules that can be shipped to them for $0. Hey, Brazos, pleasetake a look at your customer service and see if this problem can be dealt with.

I bought my first Brazos Walking stick several years ago at a shop in Wimberley, TX. As I have gotten older, I needed an additional stick to make a pair. The stick isn't as thick as the one I had and the plug at the bottom does not look as durable as on my original stick. It is not something I cannot live with but there is a difference and it is a little disappointing. Just sayin', The original stick has served me well and I look forward to giving it a go. (It's too cold ourtside right now!) Thanks for your consideration.

Great cane, great custom size and specifications, small crack appeared a few days after use.
