As a professional woodworker I felt the stick was over priced. And the high gloss finished made it look cheap. Should be a minimum satin or less for a hiking stick. Just my preference but just sayin'. Also, the amount of the extra charge for the compass on top of the stick was just silly. Took really long to receive it after ordering. Lastly...but it does work well as a hiking stick.

The stick is very nice, but, it is too short (I ordered a 37” and got a 36”) and kind of plain looking next to the photo I ordered from. But I still like it, I’m going to have to lengthen it to make it work.

Good product. The killer was the shipping which was outrageous! $7.99 for the rubber tip and $9.20 to ground ship it!!! I hate to say it, but USPS would have been much faster and cheaper.

Received my walking stick but did not have

Order a new walking stick and a rubber tip for my old walking stick. The old walking stick wasn't arriving so e-mailed the company. Return e-mail said one was on the way, but the new walking stick should have had a rubber tip. It did. So people on the other end don't read well, or comprehend.

I requested they engrave the walking stick as noted they could do on their website. When I received the stick there was no engraving anywhere on it. I emailed the company and inquired. They responded with a sad story: the engraving machine had a mechanical failure and they could not perform the engraving, but the good news is you did not get charged.

I have purchased several walking sticks.H been satisfied until last purchase. Item came opened and empty. Chatted with them and received no satisfaction on replacement or refund.

McCain was a half an inch or a little more longer than I requested a request a 36 inch and it’s more I can tell by the positioning of my elbow when I handle the cane
