I got my Sassafras wood cane several years ago. I get so many compliments on it. The grain and bark is so interesting and the weight and balance is perfect for me. I will treasure my Brazos cane all my days. Thank you so much.

The perfect Christmas gift

I absolutely LOVE my Brazos Walking Sticks. When I first got mine, in 2013, they were just what I was looking for. Sadly, I was soon unable to walk due to severe hip pain. Each time I looked at them I longed to go for a walk. The height was perfect and the heft gave me a good feeling of balance and swing. In October 2020 I had my right hip replaced. As soon as I was able, I planned to get out and walk. But, one of my sticks, left out at night by mistake, got stolen. Walking with only one stick wasn't enough balance. So I ordered a new one. This one is not a perfect match to the other - how could I expect it to be? It's maybe 1/2 to 1" longer. While I'd like it to match, it's not really a big deal. I've now been able to go out several times with both of them and I do just fine. It's such a good feeling. I can't imagine not having them. We just got snow, too - now I'll get to try out the end spikes! I'd buy these again in a heartbeat! They are beautifully crafted and have given me my mobility back again with a much better overall feeling than using a cane!
