Great looking stick.

This was my first purchase from Brazos. I've been wanting to take up hiking and after a year of being cooped up in the house due to Covid, I thought now was the perfect time to start! I really wanted a hiking stick - despite friends telling me I didn't "need" one. Seriously, if you can't walk through the forest feeling like Merlin or Gandalf, is there really any point going? I am SO glad I bought this!! It is lightweight, yet very supportive and it looks so cool. The handle is extremely comfortable. On my first hike.. which was a very easy trail, this helped me out a lot! The trail down to the main trail was a little steep for me and this gave me added support. It also came in handy wandering off the trail to step over large branches that were everywhere - and maneuvering through places with lots of rocks - again, better balance and support. I honestly don't know why more people don't use hiking sticks, but I won't go on any hike without this one!

Broke my leg (tib/fib) needed a cane for rehabilitation after crutches.. This is solid, non-slip, stylish, very much a pleasure to use both indoors and out. Very strong yet light, would recommend to anyone in need of a load-bearing cane or walking stick.

When I received shipping confirmation, I was expecting my Brazos Walking Stick to be delivered the next day via UPS. Oddly, I received a message from UPS saying the package was ‘damaged’ and ‘empty’. I contacted Brazos W.S. And they quickly rectified the problem and I had my new stick in two days. So, something weird happened with shipping and it was resolved quickly. The walking stick exceeded my expectations. I expected a great looking stick, but what I received is a work of art, in my opinion. Beautiful job! Over the years I have placed several orders with Brazos. Even while recovering from the recent fire, this latest order provided the same quality that previous orders reliability provided.
