I was initially interested in this service to increase the amount of interviews I was getting. I have had several interviews over the course of my job search and also previously met with a career coach before this to re write my resume however I thought for some reason that paying for it would make it move valuable. Overall my take away from this experience is that these things are always subjective. Between career coaches whether they are free, or charge much less/ much more than Brandresumes everyone has a different perspective on the best way to approach these things. Unfortunately I felt that this service did not live up to the value of what was charge. Of course it is difficult to quantify but my advice to everyone out there would be to assess at what point you are struggling in your job search and then go from there. Do not blindly pay someone who seems like an expert or who guarantees anything. I did find the platform of the service to be good and I appreciated that they asked questions to understand better each experience before rewriting it. By the end of it however my resume seemed almost identical to what I initially had, but some formatting had been changed and some words bolded. It is not a bad service but overall I did not find what I paid to be reflected in the final output. I would advise that everyone properly assess what they have and if you are really getting no interviews it is probably worth it to have a service like this rewrite your resume but if you have had professional advice before and are getting interview requests it is likely not the resume that is the problem.

I cannot even begin to elaborate how unprofessional and inexperienced these people are. Poor interaction with client. Immature resume writing service. False promises (like 90 day rewrite gurantee) Overall, only if you have money to burn, then just burn it but don't give it to these people.

The resume writing portion of this service was good, but the resume distribution element was done poorly. In some instances, the career site that was supposed to get my resume did NOT in fact get my resume - instead a profile was created containing no information about me. So, I'm getting notifications/messages that have no relevance to me. Brandresumes also got elements incorrect for the resume distribution. I am looking for a permanent position but instead, the various sites have it noted that I'm looking for a contract position. So, the resume distribution portion was a waste of money as now I'm having to fix all the different sites.

I'd like to start by saying Brandresumes did a great job on my resume. I found the price to be reasonable compared to other services i shopped. Brandresumes was chosen because of the competitive price & "a la cart" offerings if you can't pay everything in one shot. My only complaints were with speaking to Brandon..... He definitely is a great guy. He's very knowledgeable & customer centric. However he speaks quite quickly so be on your toes! LOL! Also, the amount of time it took to have the resume done seemed a bit long but in their defense I'm not sure how long a writer is supposed to take. The last complaint is the website itself. It's laid out very well (Nice GUI!) but getting to process the service & entering payment was challenging. I'm not sure if it's because I was using Safari as a web browser on my MacBook Air. Could it be the convention I'm using? Not sure ..... hopefully it has been ironed out...... Overall I'd say "job well done!"
