It was a pleasant experience with my resume writer. Very communicative and helpful with crafting my documents. However, the feedback I received when I sent my resume out was not as pleasant. I think it would have been better to have more engagement i.e. phone or Zoom calls, with your resume writer and having them understand what you are looking for and how best to articulate that, beyond the survey they have you fill out, would probably work best. So overall this was a neutral experience.

I would say my overall experience with this group was satisfactory. But it was just that, satisfactory. I was really looking for some professional assistance in reformatting my resume, and after a preliminary video call with Brandon (who was very nice), I decided to give them a chance. Firstly, I'd like to point out that the pricing for the services BrandResumes offers are really overvalued and are not worth the cost. This is especially considering the finished product I received was something I could have easily done myself without shelling out $350 which by the way was through a discount and the package I purchased was normally just under $1,000. Fortunately my resume writer had been pretty responsive and was open to any revisions I requested. However, I found out that my writer had no prior experience in the field I work in which made me question the whole process. The final resume I received was nicely formatted, but again it was nothing that I personally couldn't have done myself and was overall not too impressive considering the hefty price tag. Plus, I was only in contact with my writer through text chat on their website and never once spoke 1:1 with them over phone or video. The entire process took about a month to complete and I had also received my cover letter and LinkedIn profile updates which again, were nothing special and were something I could have done myself. If you're someone who is just stepping into the workforce and is seeking entry level work, then perhaps these people can help. Otherwise, I'd recommend looking elsewhere or just doing research on Google and reformat your resume yourself.

After posting a somewhat unflattering review earlier this month - Brand Resume's jumped at the chance to "make things right". I was assigned a new writer (Kim) who took the time to work with me via Zoom. This process was fast and thorough. I'm now pleased with the results - but still wondering where I'd be had I not complained in public?

Overall, It was a good experience, Francis, the person who helped me with my resume was good. Received great input for my LinkedIn profile improvements. However, I did not have a good first impression about this company. He did not call me on time and I could clearly hear him outside on the road. I thought that was very unprofessional. I still decided to give this service a try. I felt like he changed his pricing right then and there as I was talking to him and it wasn't a fixed price for the package. He send the initial message on LinkedIn and never responded afterwards for any of my emails or text messages or answered my calls. In terms of the resume writing service, I was entirely happy with the process. I had to send reminders quite a few times to the writer. I was delayed on my part some days but I am the customer. I am glad that we went back and forth to fix the resume but I felt like I am the one who was eventually adjusting the resume given that I provided a lot of input. The package I purchase included LinkedIn profile development, where I received great suggestions for LinkedIn improvements. Overall, I do not think it was worth my money. I received a good, clear template and LinkedIn suggestions but I was not entirely happy with the end product and their customer service. The first person who reached out to me was William T.J Sims. Horrible customer service! I immediately wanted not to proceed but as I wanted something immediately so I decided to go with it anyway. I think there are better resume writers out there. I was told that a subject matter expert will support me with my resume but I honestly do not think the person who supported with my resume is an experienced person in my field. I could be wrong but that's how I felt. It wasn't the best but an average experience.

Career guidance process is very good. Resume writing and Linkedin profile updates were great. I am satisfied with the result. Collaboration and Expert Interaction sessions have not started yet. I'm excited to explore the possibilities.

The guy who revised my resume did an excellent job. On your website it says from the time of payment, it'll take 5-7 business days to have your final resume drafted. I'm not sure how busy my resume writer was or what his schedule was like but the amount of time it took was way longer than that. Only piece of feedback I have is be more honest with the timeline. We are in a time where jobs are having applicants pile up and if we don't apply soon enough, the offer is removed.

Just average. Do not waste your money. I paid $500 but I don’t feel it’s worth the money. Everything goes thru email and there is not much interaction with the resume writer. The simple reformatting can be done by anyone and you don’t have to keep sending multiple emails and fill out requests online and do several follow ups. I should have picked a different service provider.

MIscommunication from the beginning of the process. I had to pay more money that could be taken care from the beginning. It took five weeks to complete an assignment. So 3/5 is the best you going to get.
