I have gotten significantly more interview requests and follow-ups when submitting my own resume than the one Brandresumes drew up for me. You end up having to write, edit, and correct most of the resume yourself. I don't think my writer had much industry knowledge. The Cover Letter, Follow-Up, and Thank you Letter templates could all be found for free on Google - nothing special there. The LinkedIn updates are useless and the job board postings haven't returned a single result, and its been 3 weeks. I made an account on this website for the sole purpose of trying to help someone else avoid the mistake I made DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

They took over a month to finish my order. While the work done was good, it should not have taken so long. They claimed to have system problems which is very possible. I had to reach out on multiple occasions for answers and actions needed to be taken.

I ran across the Brand resume team via a podcast that was being streamed on instagram--I liked what I was hearing. Therefore, soon after trying to connect with a representative via the site's chat feature (which was horrible) and conducting some surface level research, I was encouraged to purchase the Aspiring Professional Package. Unbeknownst to me, the company had a 40% bad/poor quality rating. However, it did not take long for me to understand why. In fact, it did not take long from me to determine that the representative and consequently the company lacked the skillset to develop an effective resume for my industry. However, this revelation required me to rate the product as excellent--which was merely semantics. Soon after reviewing the final product, I sent an email and also communicated my frustrations with the resume writer--requesting a refund. The request was ignored as I was informed of the 90 days I had to request any corrections for the mentioned resume. When I communicated the barrier was less about content and more about the lack of industry knowledge from the resume writer, the call was abruptly ended. I then reached out to PayPal to request a refund. PayPal ruled in the company's favor, not because the quality was as awesome as promulgated but simply because a resume was delivered. So now, I have spent 250 dollars on a resume template and LinkedIn profile that I cannot use because it reflects a knowledge/skill gap that would disqualify me for any potential employers. I can't iterate enough how lackluster and generic the resume was. In fact, I believe the actual product goes against the message that the team is promulgating as its related to the job seeking process. For instance, In their FAQ, it reads, "One of the mistakes job seekers make is creating a "jack of all trades" resume"--and this is exactly what they did for me. Please do your research and ask industry specific questions before conducting any business with this team. In fact, unless you're in the business industry, I wouldn't conduct business with them at all. A disgruntled customer, AP

Christina was a pleasure to work with. She was not only patient and professional but she explained everything to make sure I understood why certain things were the way the were on my resume. I feel confident going into my job search with my new resume.

I'm really happy to have found Brandresumes because during my job search prior to seeking a professional resume writer I wasn't getting any call backs or responses from employers. Since I've gotten professional help with re-building my entire resume and Linkedin I've been getting more responses from employers and calls to come in for interviews! I'm really happy and grateful that there is a great company like this that helps individuals like myself that is in need of resume building. The only thing I would suggest is more communication from the writer. I had to keep reaching out to check on the status of my resume, I would suggest to give possible dates as to when the resume drafts will be completed so we're always in loop of what's going on.

My resume writer was good. She was very responsive and flexible. She gave me an excellent base document that I modified accordingly. The questions asked were very good ones to get the most out of the experience. I really liked the LinkedIn profile help that they provided. I implemented all of the advice for my profile. I would surely recommend Brandresumes.

It takes more than a month for me to get the final draft. The service provider required you to check the grammar and spelling error yourself and point out each detail you want them to correct, and they will correct based on what you told them. I wasn't expecting to pay for the service and have to do 50% of job myself.

Overall, for the price I was really disappointed. I was looking to convert my 7 pg CV to a 2 pg resume and the first attempt was a total failure. It took around 2weeks for the first draft and it was clear that the writer was not familiar with the pharmaceutical industry. When I contacted the team with my complaint, they were very responsive and generated a good resume (thus 2 stars instead of 1), but as far as the LinkedIn profile recommendations I was again very dissatisfied. Basically, they recommended changing my title to roles that I do not yet have and copying over bullet points from the resume. I could have done that myself! Not a lot of thought went into the profile recommendations, it looked like a copy/paste into a template. Complete waste of money in my opinion.
