They denied my dispute despite FRAUD
I am writing to formally appeal the denial of my recent fraud dispute regarding two fraudulent transactions charged to my Uber Pro Card. I was notified that my claim (26092804922C) was denied because your department determined there was "no unauthorized use." This conclusion is entirely incorrect. I did not make, authorize, or benefit from these transactions. The timeline and geographic evidence clearly demonstrate that my account security was compromised: • Geographic Impossibility: The fraudulent purchases were made in California / Los Angeles. I reside permanently in Michigan and have never visited either state. I was physically in Michigan with my card in my possession when these transactions occurred. • Bypassed Security Controls: The two transactions successfully posted despite my Uber Pro Card being locked in the app at the time. This indicates a severe bypass of your card control features. • Continuous Fraud Patterns: A third charge was attempted and declined while I was actively locking down my account. Furthermore, two days after I received my new replacement card, an unauthorized merchant attempted a $1 authorization charge. This persistent activity proves an ongoing threat to my account credentials, not valid user spending. As an Uber Pro Card user, I rely on your platform to secure my hard-earned driving revenue. Because these charges were entirely unauthorized, they are protected under the Electronic Fund Transfer Act (Regulation E) and Mastercard's Zero Liability policy. I request that you immediately reopen this investigation, review the terminal/merchant locations against my Michigan residency, and credit my account for the full disputed amount of $45.50 or provide me with a written explanation detailing the evidence you used to conclude that these charges were not fraudulent. Branch and their dispute department have refused to investigate the FRAUD on my account. They have violated my rights until the EFT provision and Mastercard zero fraud liability. MY CARD WAS/IS LOCKED and they are still allowing fraud to occur on my account.
