Our first time ordering for our business has been a complete nightmare. Our current vendor no longer could do our sizes so we decided to give them a try. First we were told it would take them 1-2 days to match a proof, it ended up taking 5 business days. We were then told production would be 12-14 business days. On day 15, we were told the boxes are still in production because they were "busy". No communication of any of this was given and we had to reach out multiple times to even get a simple update. It has now been 25+ days and we do not have boxes to ship orders out in. We had to go to another source and pay rush fees because of the delays. We still have NOT received a timeline for when we will get our boxes. I highly recommend looking elsewhere.

From start to finish - HORRIBLE. The communication and gaps in commication were terrible. I sent my bottles in so they could create the right size box, and after almost three months of going back and forth, delays, miscommunications and LOTS of frustration, the prototype I received was WAY OFF and had big gaps between the bottle and edge of the box. This company cost me a lot of time and aggrivation and in the end, sent me a CRAP prototype. I would not waste my time on them. They don't know what they are doing!

This was my second order on Box Genie. The first was great. This time, I ordered via email because I wanted the price match. They did honor the price match which was cool. I submitted my artwork to the person I was dealing with via email. I did not know that they would not send me a proof and the man I was dealing with did not offer up that information either. After 9 days without another email from him, I reached out and was told that the boxes were in production and that proofs are not sent out unless the customer requests them. When I received the boxes, they were horribly wrong (artwork was upside down) and they were 0.8inches longer than what I ordered. When I reached out to the man I had been dealing with, I was told there was nothing Box Genie would do because they printed with the artwork I sent. Yes, I messed up the artwork, but seriously? They are a printing company - what common sense is there in not providing a customer a proof? Additionally, he did not acknowledge the sizing issue. Sadly, this lack of common sense and poor customer service has left me searching for a new box company.

What an absolute exercise in futility dealing with this company. I have never had such a difficult time getting a product completed as I have working with this business. The person, Lynn, I dealt with seems to be the ONLY person at that company that deals with customers. The communication was terrible, long lapses in between communications, no follow up or follow through and in the end, after months of going back and forth, the prototypes I was sent were of such poor quality it was incredibly disappointing. They were NOT the correct size, flimsy, low resoluton printing and I could go on and on. Do yourself a favor and avoid Box Genie. The designer they referred to me was a total incompetent as well. I wasted $700 and two and a half months for absolutely NOTHING.

Update: I was contacted and told that 2-3 weeks is their standard fulfillment time. I responded and asked if it was possible to cancel the order. I did not receive a response. I also forgot to mention in my original review, but I originally tried contacting them over phone and about 5 tries over the course of several days I did not have a single answer. I left a message and asked for a call back, which I never received. So far my experience with them has been very poor. We needed a new supplier for our product boxes, and Box Genie had good prices, a decent web interface, and fully custom box sizes. So we placed a smaller test order of 100 boxes on June 30th. On July 5th we realized that the artwork needed updating. Their customer portal showed the order as unfulfilled, so we assumed updating the artwork would be no problem, and reached out to them with new files. On July 8th we received a reply saying that the order was already in production and the artwork couldn't be changed. I'm writing this on July 15th, a week after that response. Customer portal still shows the order as unfulfilled. No updates whatsoever from Box Genie. It's over 2 weeks since we placed the order and apparently it hasn't even gone into production yet, though they're still either unable or unwilling to change the artwork. Our product was manufactured in China and shipped here in less time than it's taken Box Genie to even start fulfilling the order, and now we have product we can't sell because we made a poor supplier choice this go round. I'm very unsatisfied and will not be using them as our main supplier for the rest of our products moving forward.

I was excited to receive my order and when it came . It wasn’t what I ordered and I’m so disappointed. I have launch day approaching and I don’t have the correct product. This shouldn’t have left their facility without being verified.

I paid for my product and I haven’t received it. It’s been two months.

Ordered and paid for boxes on 03/23/23. Site states shipping within 10 business days. It is now 04/14/23 and I just checked again.....it still says unfilled. I called and no one ever answers. I messaged them, no reply. I finally sent an email demanding contact and they reply with our order is waiting to be glued. They then offer me 20% off my next order (which is what they give all new clients so it doesn't mean anything). How about they refund me an additional 20%, refund my shipping cost and send my order? Very unsatisfied 1st time client.
