Scam, BossCat is not a real company. They take money. They do not show up. AVOID ! After reading the Bosscat response I feel that I must clear the record.. After much trouble getting an estimate from Bosscat I got one three weeks ago and booked an appointment for Jan. 9th at 9:00. I called Bosscat at 8:00 AM that morning. Tyrell at Bosscat confirmed that the pros would be at my new home at 9:00 Am just as we agreed. They did not show up. At 10:00 AM 01/09 I called Bosscat and Tyrell told me that he had not correctly confirmed the appointment. I called his boss, Jay who said he would work on it but after a few more calls they admitted that no one would come. The estimate will show that there was no roof work- some attic work, indoor grout, clearing a dryer vent. So any reasonable person can see that Bosscat's response is BS and it fails to recognize that weather in no way would have prevented the original schedule. BTW it snowed on jan 10 not on jan 9 - the date of the appointment. I requested a call from the Charleston leadership but they blew me off. One final word. IMO the google reviews rating of 2.3 is well earned.

They say the estimate is free but it’s a lie. The cost is $100. Don’t waste your time

New windows and basic repair work took 6 months, missed large patches in nearly $9,000 paint job which I highly doubt was two coats as listed, damaged hard wood flooring, damaged bottom floor carpet, did some "magic math" with repair items they didn't even complete to cover extra labor charges they didn't even get my approval for, I do not trust the head contractor or management one bit. I had the worst experience and have pictures to prove everything.

SCAM!!! This company is a scam and they try everything they can not to pay their contractors. They don’t have any knowledge on how to manage a job and the fact that they claim they are a tech company is laughable. They have one IT guy and they don’t know how to run their own portal. Save yourself a lot of trouble and go with a reputable contractor. The last 5 project managers have been fired. That should tell you something!

What started off good ended on a bad note. I had several items accepted for repair on my house and had multiple in-person walk throughs, emails, and conversations with what needed to be done. The main repair of concern was to my deck and the quote specifically listed “new posts and support beams”. I discussed with Michael and the main PM that the beams needed to support all of the joists, needed to be bearing on the posts properly, and we needed to have the handrail posts supported. These were things noted in my inspection report that was shared and Michael and I discussed multiple options to solve the repairs. The team came out and “completed” the deck work in one day, but didn’t support the handrail posts, didn’t get a new beam that could span the length to support all joists, and reused my existing posts and beams. When I questioned the incomplete/inadequate work, it took a week to have the PM come back for “final inspection” and he tried to claim they had completed the work and were “unaware” that the other items were not addressed. He said he would have someone else out to look at fixing the incomplete issues and quote new handrails (new scope). However, they wanted to charge me the same amount to redo the work that was not completed in the first place. They did agree to remove some cost for materials since they did not in fact get new beams or posts as indicated in my approved quote. I would not recommend working with this team or the headache.

I am a real estate agent based in Houston, Texas. Recently, a local representative from Bosscat reached out to discuss their services, which align with my needs for renovation and punchlist services that I offer to my clients. Despite multiple attempts to connect—including messages, phone calls, and emails—I have not received any response from the representative I was in contact with. This lack of communication has been a recurring issue, as evidenced by numerous negative reviews I’ve reviewed. Effective communication is crucial in my line of work, and the generic responses from the company do not seem to address the core issues. The sad thing is I really thought it would've been a good relationship, and I had about five new clients that I was working with who would've absolutely been open to working with this company on their make-ready solutions. If I were to offer a piece of advice to Bosscat, it would be to prioritize fixing their communication channels. Based on my experience and the feedback from others, improving this aspect of their service is essential.

Our realtor recommended bosscat and I regret getting involved with them. Ronnie gave us an estimate and we were told the work would be done 3-4 days after we signed the service agreement and paid our deposit. 3 work days layer, we heard from our realtor that the work was scheduled for Tuesday so we contacted Bosscat and they confirmed. Then, it was pushed to Wed and then we were told they'd call us on Thursday to let us know when they were coming. On Thursday, Ronnie said he was going to stop by on Friday to talk. Apparently, his estimate meant nothing. I always assume you would talk to your professionals prior to giving your customers a quote but this is not Bosscat's way of doing business. They have you sign a service agreement, take your deposit and then double the price. The worst part is that my husband has cancer and we're on a timeline to re-establish his care in the one week break between his chemo, which we told Ronnie. Ronnie clearly doesn't care. His apology doesn't make up for poor customer service. He's all about making money.

So I’m one of the vendors that they hired to do work and they have no idea what they’re doing. They have no idea what they’re invoicing, for. They have no idea what they’re pricing things for. They don’t even have people on the field. This place is a dumpster fire, any vendor willing to work with them is going to end up working for free and fronting all the money up front. They are business plan is to offer the world to their clients and then hire a subcontractor and ask them to do incredible tasks for a ridiculous amount of money and then ask the contractor to cut corners to make it happen then when the customer gets upset, they will just throw you under the bus said you didn’t do what you were supposed to do and kick you out of the job site without pay Scam vendors stay away from working with this company .
