Boscov'sReviews of boscovs.com

Purchased socks for my first and last by online. The packaging and description online was false and misleading. Return was easy. CR and CS were so Robin and scriped that I really thought I was speaking to AI,not real people. I complain because I was concerned for future purchasers, Boscov's people could careless about losing a sale or a customer. Don

I ordered six petite and I got 12 petite on jeans, order two pairs of pajamas that were petite have to pull them up to my breast and they still drag the ground. Customer service representative was dumb as a rock didn't know the difference between pajamas and a nightgown. Beware of boscov's

I placed an online order. Their site gave me an error message saying there was a problem at my bank and the order didn't go through. I checked my bank and it absolutely went through, I was charged. I contacted Boscov's and their answer "just wait a few days for it to drop off." Total incompetence. I guess they needed a loan from me for a few days? Cause now the money's gone, even though my order was not placed. And the money will be held for who knows how many days. Did not offer a coupon or anything for the inconvenience. Unprofessional website and response

OK. Nice feel inside and great shopping. I go every once and a while to go school shopping. A little steep prices but not to bad. A few weird employees.

Boscov’s does not stand behind the products they sell online. I purchased a comforter set and it SMELLS! I contacted them and I can either take it to a store in Pennsylvania (I live in CO) or pay to ship it back myself! The cost to ship it back is prohibitive. They should pay to return it because the merchandise is defective! I would NOT recommend making online purchased from this retailer!!!

I placed an order for 10 units of an item on Boscov's website. The site let me select that quantity, calculated shipping at checkout and took payment through PayPal with no bulk fee or extra shipping charge anywhere in the process. Days later I got a voicemail and an email saying they wanted $15 more because they now considered my order "bulk." That's about 10% on top of what I'd already paid. Pay up with a new payment method or they cancel the order. Here's the part that gets me: I went back to the site and the same item at the same quantity still checks out with no extra fee. Their own system doesn't think it's a problem. They only decide it is after your money is in hand. I replied in writing, pointed all of this out, and offered a reasonable middle ground: either ship it as ordered or reduce the quantity to whatever they'd normally ship without a surcharge and refund the difference. They refused both. The only options were pay the surprise fee or lose the order. If a retailer doesn't want to ship a certain quantity at the listed price, the fix is simple: cap the quantity in the cart or show the fee at checkout. Letting customers complete a purchase and then demanding more money afterward is not how an honest checkout works. Buyer beware. Whatever total Boscov's shows you at checkout may not be the price you end up paying.

Just sharing my experience, kinda the item arrived broken and unusable and nobody even apologised! Really expected better!

This company is dishonest with online orders. I purchased an items that I guess they didnt have in inventory despite approving my order and receiving an email of "shipped. Never received ttacking, was told it was comming from another company so couldn't provide tracking, and customer service asked me to call back the next week so I was calling customer service three weeks in a row and waited a month until I canceled my order. Isn't customer service supposed to find out what is going on with your order rather than make you check back every week with no information on their end, not even a tracking order? And all that time they were holding my money because the truth is they did not have the item and instead of canceling and telling me the truth they were dishonnest and claimed it was on its way but didn't have tracking. I would never support this company again. Worst customer service and experience wasting my time doing their job.
