I ordered a book that was supposedly in stock but when I received my email confirmation it said it was on backorder. Some time when by, so I just tried to cancel my order but it says it is in process and cannot be cancelled. What???

If i could i would give no stars. I ordered a book from Books-A-Million. The post office said the book was delivered. I never received the book. The book store would not replace the book. I told them i would not complain about a book i received. I will not buy another book or anything else from them ever!!!!

I ordered an exclusive Funko pop from them and it arrived smashed in the mail. I was told would receive a replacement but now got an email saying they where sold out and I would receive a refund. Customer service is a joke and I won’t be buying from them in the future.

I tried at least 10 times to order a book via BAM online only to get an oops something went wrong error. Your site sucks! I’m surprised you’re still in business. Taking my money to Amazon.

Sign in window said Buy 2/get one free storewide. Got to the register and they tell me some books are marked with stickers (saw 0 of those) and only certain shelves for those sales. What a rip off, no fine print on the sign to specify this. Books out front on sale racks, I purchased 4 of them and none of them were on that sale either even though the sign was on the rack. No wonder I don't shop at this store, won't make the mistake of shopping there again, will buy my books elsewhere where the sales are REAL.

One of the clerks at the Destin Florida store in the Commons was playing on her phone while she was ordering a book to be sent to my house. Little did I know she must have been copying my credit card info into her phone because that same day I had hundreds of dollars worth of fraudulent charges on that same card. I’ve emailed their feedback center and I’m going back today. The clerk needs to be fired and should not be able to access customers credit card info at future employers. I am also considering pressing charges.

canceled the membership card 3 years ago and all a sudden today I noticed a charge on my credit card for a renewal fee. Called again with the customer service person saying I never canceled. The customer service person sounded impatient and made me feel that it was my fault for not noticing these charges. She impatiently told me there's nothing she could do for my previous fees however would do me a "favor" to give me a refund for the most recent charge. I personally will never shop with this company any more since the membership was complete BS and there's pretty much no benefit to it nowadays. Initially we signed up for a discount purchase in store and canceled after trail period was over since we don't have a store around our area no more. Thinking that we could trust the company to cancel our membership was us being naive. Never again.

I ordered a book to read over the holidays on December 2nd. I recently received an email that it was on its way on JUNE 22nd. I have since moved from that shipping address and won't be receiving the book. Customer service refused a refund because I could not return the book that I did not receive. They said I had to wait 30 days for the books to be returned by the person that is receiving it at my previous address. Most companies would simply send a new book to the proper address. Books-A-Million had the worst return/refund policy and I was blamed for not keeping up with the release date of the book that the publisher had pushed back.
