Best regards, Booksamillion [Website] Customer Service [Redacted] [Redacted]" (I had ordered the whole manga series, 12 books, have been waiting for Volume 1 since The end of May. It is July 12th today and I get this email, and I respond) What? You mean I could have purchased this on Amazon when it was available back in May/June instead of waiting until July 12th and it is no longer available on Amazon??? How come it is still available for order on your website? What does "on order" mean when I observe the item, after I place it in my cart, as there are no indications of backordered or restocking at a certain date on the item's page now. Months ago I saw the dates on the item's ordering page about the restock, which would have been in June, so I waited. Then another restock change. So I waited. Now there is nothing indicating that it needs to be restocked on the item's page, which were previous indications to me that it would be showing up to your online store at a specific set later time. It looks available now. [Link to the Platinum End Volume 1 Manga] How do I get an alert indicating when this item is restocked? I have removed my credit card from your website. I was considering a membership if this order worked out. This has been too frustrating of an experience. I experienced a very long wait with the 3rd book in this series as well. I have spent a lot of time and money in one of your Brick and Mortar stores as well which left me considering a membership. This was my first time ordering books online with your store. I am hesitant to do so again. When I contacted you in the past, two times for book 1 (Also a 3rd time for book 3), I was assured that it would take 2-4 weeks. It was a lot longer than that with nothing in the end. And now I can't even buy it on Amazon. Barnes and Nobel says it will be in stock July 19th, but they have been doing the same error you guys did as the item never shows up in stock and the date is pushed back. I just wish you would have told me back at the end of May that this item is out of print and no longer available at your warehouses back then. I can't find anything online that indicates this book is out of print. I have learned to never order a book, or start a series that has any books in it that indicates that it "will be in stock" on a set later date. ---------------------------------------- FIRST IN STORE EXPERIENCE: I was scammed into a magazine subscription where they took my credit card information, without my permission or knowledge, and submitted it to a magazine company. The cashier's question at checkout was, "Would you like two free magazines?" I said, "Yes." I only swiped my card for my order of a few manga books and there was no extra information given to me about these "Free Magazines". Later I would be billed by an estranged magazine company and have to dispute it with my credit card and the store manager. The Store manager was kind and cooperative. A SEPERATE IN STORE EXPERIENCE; I have only been there about 4 or 5 times starting spring of 2021. I am looking at the huge wall of manga books. I have sensory processing issues, so it takes me a while to process my environment. It takes me a while to go through the whole wall. And this employee keeps standing behind me and next to me and watching me for the hour that I was there. My room mate was watching her do this as well. It was creepy and degrading. It made it hard to concentrate on finding the new manga I wanted to start reading I can't deal with this stress. Got scammed, got creeped out, and was lied to.
