Ordered 6 books in May and June (2 separate orders) and only 1 order showed up. The box was EMPTY! They said they ordered a replacement that had not arrived after 6 weeks (but Amazon has the book in stock for prime delivery). The replacement never came. Not sure how a store that sells BOOKS can’t seem to get an order completed. Will not order from them EVER again. Still waiting on a book that has been ordered by BAM for over a month.

This store and website are absolutely horrible. It says that the books I wanted were in stock at store in my area but that was a lie. I drove there twice in two days because the website said the books were in stock. Neither time were they on shelf. Didn't ask for help I was so disgusted with this store and website.

I ordered a very hard to find book 2 weeks ago. It was in guest mode because I had no time to make a account. I purchased free shipping, It claims to have delivery that takes 3-5 business days. 1week later I wanted to check on my delivery, But what is this? I can’t because I didn’t create a account. And even if I do try it says Your email is invalid so here I am 2 weeks later I hope BAM learns a lesson

They say things are in-stock but they never are, and even if they're in stock, you're put in a waiting list for that item, so you're not even guaranteed to get the item that YOU purchased. Their system is unique and frankly; really stupid. I bought a manga box set from them and the listing just magically disappears from their website and they don't even give me email notifications as to why this is. Customer support is useless and garbage as well. Don't even bother with this company. They're not a scam, but the way they distribute books is really scummy and their communication is a solid 0/10. Don't recommend to anyone else at all, you're better off going to their in person stores. The online experience is something I don't want anyone else to experience.

this company is terrible. i ordered books back in early may and they still havent shipped even though the estimated date was may 18th. i cant even cancel the order. they're scammers, do not purchase ANYTHING from here. if i could give 0 i would

If I could give this business thumbs down 👎 had to give a star to leave review. The website showed customer service doesn't close until 7pm Central time. I tried calling at 6pm Eastern they were already closed. After some lady named Sarah transferred me to a closed department. Have tried to reset password 5x still can't access an account that shouldn't be active. So freaking done with these characters

This website is absolute garbage. There isn't an in-person store near me so I can't speak for that, but I would NOT order from their website. It has been a couple weeks and my order is still "pending" when it's really in backorder. They won't let you cancel the order when it's "pending" of course. I've contacted them through phone, text, email, AND a support request and have yet to hear back from any of these in over a week. Their customer service is terrible, I haven't even been able to reach them. They won't let me cancel my order even though it's not "ready to ship" as their website clearly stated. My mother had tried ordering me manga off of this website for my birthday as well. This was THREE months ago and it still says "pending" and their customer support isn't helping us understand this at all. Overall, no, I would not recommend this website to anybody who wants a quick and stress-free online shopping experience.

WORST experience, I ordered a series from them and they said it would ship out in 2 weeks back in MAY it’s now July with a status update I tried canceling the order before and it wouldn’t allow me because it was “pending” I’m glad it was cancelled but I had ZERO updates on why my order wasn’t available, how it became pending like I was going to get my order then boom cancelled. I will never use this sorry company ever again! What a waste of time. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM ONLINE EVER!!
