Caution with Bob's.
Purchased a few watches from Bob's. Two were as advertised. But one GMT arrived, and upon closer inspection, the clasp/bracelet were twisted slightly and would not close with the typical 'clunk' of a Rolex watch. I took pictures and called them and emailed them photos. A 'watchmaker' called me back and said the findings were 'minor'. Hmmm... there was nothing 'minor' about my wiring them $13,000 without question. I was offended by that ignorant 'watchmaker', and sent it back. All in all, not such a good experience. Also wanted to sell them a used ladies Datejust two-tone. Pictures and explanations preceeded, as the original Jubilee bracelet had broken years prior, and was replaced with a new Oyster two tone. They made a good offer. Sadly, after it arrived, they started giving me all sorts of excuses of what was wrong with it. And then said it would have to go back to Rolex for a COA... REALLY? What kind of BS is this to beat down a customer? Like they are really gonna send it back to a RSC at a cost of at least 1K? I will not do business with them again. They are in the watch turnover business, and I dont trust them after those two episodes. So, BUYER BEWARE. My suggestion would be to try HQM... decent folks, no BS, and honest.
