BoboshouseReviews of boboshouse.com

I ordered a pair for my 11-year old daughter as she liked the look. In less than a month, the sole of the shoes is ripped. Very poor quality. After posting the above review, I was contacted by the company. They offered me 30% refund of the original $120 that I had paid for the shoes. For that, I am changing my one-star review to two-star.

I ordered a loungewear set that was advertised as 80% cotton fabric, and what I got was described on the tag as "chemical fibre blend" which really reflected with the quality of the thing. Super thin, more what you'd find on a cheap athletic wear shirt than loungewear. The colour was also a lot different than advertised. I usually don't return items but I'm going to return this because it's absolute crap. They shouldn't be allowed to write claims about their products that aren't true. I wasted my money here. Edit: Looks like they took the set I ordered off of the website entirely. Still haven't heard back from customer service but we'll see how they deal with this. Edit 2: They got back to me and claim that for "certain items" in the loungewear collection they use a third-party manufacturer, and weren't aware of the "labelling discrepancy". They say they're going to do a deep investigation. They gave me a full refund and a code for 30% off anything in their shop, though I may not use it because I'd rather not risk getting an item like that again. Changing my review from one star to two stars because of the good customer service, though I have a feeling that the fact I pointed out that false advertising about the material and design of the item is illegal helped speed along the process.
