BlueStacksReviews of bluestacks.com

I had it installed for 23 hrs, then they wanted me to purchase a licence -you could not use it once that nag screen came on, and you could not close it. If it had done what I wanted, after evaluation I prolly would have paid. But today I uninstalled after getting unsatisfactory responses to my queries. I'm not an Android developer - I just wanted to run a few apps which I have on my phone, to be honest the apps it did run were not running well, and the engine was slow to start. Further I found they had far too much of my private data via google. No I wouldn't recommend to anyone

After using Nox and Memu, the only options left were KOplayer (which works fine but is laggy) and BlueStacks. BlueStacks works great. High fps while I play Asphalt 8 which is nice. Also great for Critical Ops because they have a shooting mode so you can use your mouse to aim like in counter-strike. I read the other reviews here and have no experienced any of these issues. The older version of bluestacks sucked, yes, but in the past 6 months or so the updates have been really solid. I also saw that there is a bluestacks 3 coming out and it looks very different. My frined in Taiwan is using it (i think its only available there right now) and says that it's much faster than the one I use now and than other emulators. I don't know when that's coming out though. hopefully soon.

Without question one of the worst apps available, The app is published with no intention of supporting it unless you consider being told lies as support. The only reason I'm giving one star is because I can't give less.

Garbage ad ridden software that is slow and crashes and will auto install stuff randomly as well as requires you to make a bluestacks account. Everything about this emulator is fail. If you need to use an android emulator, anything is better than this coded pile of trash.

I have a problem getting through the "First time setup" because its buggy as hell.. so i contacted their support, and i got answers and solutions i could try out, the service was fine untill 2 days after i started getting their support.. then all of the sudden all contact from them stopped, and i havent heard a word since.. (almost 2 weeks) ive contacted them multiple times, and even asked if they forgot about my ticket and told them it still wasent resolved.. i still havent heard a word from them.. dont bother with bluestacks, if u get it to work.. then good for u.. but if u dont, and like me are having bugs/problems, then dont expect any serious support.. 1/5 stars because sadly i cant make it 0...

I have never had this many bluescreens as after i started to use bluestacks, dodgy as icecream software combined with devs pushing for new features instead of fixing bugs = SEVERE HARDWARE DAMAGE. DO NOT INSTALL THIS SOFTWARE UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING. MY COMPUTER IS DEAD NOW

If you want to play games at full speed use MEmu at memuplay.com BlueStacks is not running at full FPS and is useless for smooth gameplay, also fails to save game progress in Lara Croft GO, and it also stutters all the time.
