The contract is under Kat J. (Aka Anita L.) Beware of Blue Mount Publishers – Scam & Breach of Contract! Update; 9/8/2026 still nothing from these guys! I paid $2,800 to Blue Mount Publishers on January 11, 2023, for a full-service book publishing package that was supposed to include writing completion, formatting, publishing, printing, and marketing. They failed to deliver on nearly every aspect of the contract. Initially, they engaged with me but repeatedly tried to upsell additional services. When I declined, they gradually stopped working on my project and eventually ceased communication altogether. I have emailed them for over a year with no response. What I Paid For But Never Received: ❌ Book completion & formatting – I had to pay another company $1,000 to finish my book. ❌ Publishing & printing – My book was never published or printed as promised. ❌ Marketing & promotional materials – No social media promotions, press releases, or author branding. ❌ Retail distribution – My book was never listed on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or other platforms. After their complete failure to fulfill the contract, I had to self-publish the book on my own. Blue Mount Publishers ghosted me, ignored my emails, and refused to provide a refund. This Company Is a Scam! 🚨 They use a rented address to appear legitimate. 🚨 They promise premium services but don’t deliver. 🚨 They upsell aggressively and then stop working if you refuse They ignore customer complaints and disappear. I have more emails!!!! This is just a small list! June 25, 2024 Email to Bluemount (Levi) Subject Inquiry about book revisions and marketing services. Content:frustration over lack of communication. Stated that I paid in full for book revisions, printing, and promotion. - Requested a response and an update. - Asked for a courtesy call. --- November 29, 2024Email to Charles Cooper Subject: Request for a Refund. Content: Expressed dissatisfaction. Requested a refund, indicating the project was not working out. December 9, 2024- Follow-up Email to Charles Cooper Subject: Urgent Refund Request. Content: Asked for a refund ASAP or a phone call. January 28, 2025 Email to Shane Dawson Subject:Lack of Marketing Updates. Content: Mentioned lack of communication again. Asked if any marketing was being done. January 29, 2025 Follow-up Email to Shane Dawson Subject:Checking for Updates. Content: Short message asking for any news. January 30, 2025 Second Follow-up to Shane Dawson Subject: Still No Response. Content:Sent another short message asking "Anything?" March 2, 2025 – Email to Bluemount Subject: Unfulfilled Services Content: Stated that marketing services, 10 author books, and promotional materials had not been received. Asked what the next steps were. March 2, 2025 - Follow-up to Charles Cooper Subject: Final Refund Request. Content: Reiterated the need for a refund or a call. Sent: 3/27/2025 3:50:38 PM From: BBB serving the San Francisco Subject: This complaint has been closed without response from the business to consumer. The Better Business Bureau has made two attempts to contact the business regarding your complaint. We regret to inform you that we have not received a response at this time and this case has now been closed as an UNANSWERED complaint in their file. Despite my many attempts to resolve this directly over the past year, I have received no progress updates, no delivery of the contracted services, and no communication—except your recent response to my Trustpilot review claiming you could not locate my file. To remove any confusion, I’ve attached the original contract for your reference. While I didn’t want to post a public review, months of being ignored—with no phone calls, emails, or resolution—left me no other option. I had to self-publish and cover additional costs because your company failed to deliver on your end of the agreement. Like they requeated, but the message bounced back as undeliverable—the email address either doesn’t exist or is unable to receive mail! This only adds to the ongoing frustration, as I’ve reached out for over a year with no resolution, no phone calls, and no email replies.

Bob, the person in the chat was very helpful and answered all my questions. He offered great customer service. The finished product after publication is extraordinary. Paper quality and cover of my book look professional. chapter headings and pagination are stellar. the book is Eye-Catching.

I found this company to be very deceptive in their advertising and it was clear to me very quickly that they weren't very interested in helping me but mostly interested in getting money from me. I told them to leave me alone and never call me again. They've called me pretty much every month since then and keep giving my contact information to the newest guy in the office along with a list of other people and they won't stop harassing me. Don't give me your contact information they'll never leave you alone no matter how many times you ask.

Ughh, I was stuck with the worst writers block for MONTHS. Couldn't get past it no matter what I tried. Then Blue Mount Publisher stepped in, and it was like magic. They gave me brainstorming ideas and suddenly I was writing again. And not just random stuff.. The book ended up being really well-written and cohesive! Seriously lifesavers!!
