BluemercuryReviews of bluemercury.com

Terrible delivery compared to Sephora. I didn't realize that this was a subpar operation . My order was over $500. Delivery is taking over 8 days and counting. Now I am worried about ever getting my order and having to file a claim through my bank. What a disaster and tremendous hassle. I recommend avoiding this company.

I placed a large order on June 4th. Got a tracking link that said it had left the USPS Atlanta distribution center on June 5th (who uses USPS these days?!?!?). It was over $500 worth of product. When it hadn’t arrived, or had any updated info, by June 14th I emailed Blue Mercury customer support. I have been in contact with them every day since and keep getting reassured that the order is on the way. This afternoon the shipment link had an update -“arrived at Atlanta distribution center”. The same place they said it left TWO WERKS AGO!!!!! I live in Los Angeles. They offered me a 10% refund. Wow. I just want the items I ordered! No confidence the package will ever arrive and now I will need to deal with my credit card company to file a claim. I will never order from their website again. Crazy.

I never received my Bluemercury order and was extremely disappointed by how the situation was handled. After the package failed to arrive, I contacted UPS and was informed that I could not file a claim because the sender had restricted claims from being filed by the recipient. I then contacted Bluemercury for assistance. Instead of opening a claim with UPS, investigating the missing package, or offering a replacement or refund, I received the following response: “We are unable to open a claim for you. Please reach out to your bank to dispute the charge.” As a customer, I find this unacceptable. I paid for products that I never received, yet Bluemercury’s solution was to send me to my bank rather than take responsibility for resolving the issue with their shipping carrier. For a company that presents itself as a premium retailer, I expected much better customer service and support. Unfortunately, my experience has been the opposite.

I would absolutely opt for zero stars. I had a miserable experience at the store in East Hampton. After being told by the store manager that she would exchange a product for a different one, I drove home to get the unsatisfactory product. When I returned to the store the manager told me she couldn’t help me because she had to go to lunch. I waited patiently in the store and when she returned she said she couldn’t help me and absolutely denied her previous offer. The entire transaction (from original purchase not being scanned properly) to being misled were infuriating. I called Customer Service and at the end of a long back and forth and being put on hold the service person told me that they were only authorized to resolve online purchase issues! I asked why I hadn’t I been told that immediately and not wasted 45 minutes. I don’t know what corporation owns this retail outlet but they should sell it off and take a loss just like I had to.

Looks like it’s a trend. Terrible customer service. Once they charge and ship. They don’t care if package is arrived. They tell me call UPS. That states package was damaged. UPS tells me call vendor that they were told it was damaged.

I ordered a Dyson Airwrap from this site for the first time. The seller shipped the item via UPS to the address I provided, but the package was never delivered to me. After contacting their customer service by both email and phone, I was told they would not investigate the issue. Instead, they claimed they are not responsible for missing packages and that I should deal with UPS directly. This is completely unacceptable. When a customer purchases a product, the seller is responsible for choosing the shipping method and ensuring the item is successfully delivered. It is their obligation—not the customer’s—to investigate delivery issues and resolve them. Based on this experience, I will not be doing business with this company again. I strongly advise others to avoid this site, as their practices feel unreliable and untrustworthy.

I am a Sapphire rewards member, and am so disappointed in them lately. Last month, my order was canceled days later for “insufficient product.” After this I should have known better than to order anymore online. Placed another order that did ship, but I just received it without any samples (both of which I selected/wanted). Get it together Bluemercury. You have a TON of competition (all of whom have up to date stock information, actually send samples, and have better rewards programs), and your e-commerce service is atrocious.

HORRIBLE. I spent over $500 online and one of the products was missing from my order. Not a big deal, right? Well, I contacted their customer service department who informed me that the product was NOT AVAILABLE and yet I WAS CHARGED. I didn't receive any communication alerting me to this issue. In fact, I would have never known if it wasn't for me reaching out. To make matters worse, they shrugged it off with a stock response and offered me a laughably basic 15% off. I will take my high-spending, beauty addiction elsewhere.
