Sadly a very bad purchasing experience. We have had an RV that we have been unable to use for a month. Prep service was charged and never done. The RV house batteries would not charge. Several trips to repair have finally corrected the problem. No prep fee has yet been returned. Registration has taken long enough that we still have no plates and now can not take it out as the temp plate has expired. This is with an RV that was promised to be ready when it was taken off the lot for a road trip. Very bad service.

Do not do business with BC Ringold / …
Do not do business with BC Ringold / Chattanooga. I have a 4308 Newmar Ventana that I co-signed with them. Over five months they did not maintain my unit. They did not keep the batteries charged. Or the unit clean. It cost me $3500 today for new chassis and house batteries due to their negligence. Then blamed it on me. They are also one of the highest labor charges I’ve seen. They also doubled charged me on items I already paid that I will have to dispute. The maint and parts manager is completely unprofessional.
I will be taking this matter further due to the agreement stating they were at fault for my damaged unit. They also did not or do not keep your co-signed unit clean. It was horrible shape. In and out. Do not use them.

Do not Service your RV here!
On 10/22/24 my husband took our 2022 twilight camper to Blue Compass RV located at 5905 Veteran's Memorial Hwy. Scottsville, KY 42164. We have it winterized and de-winterized every year from this location. When my husband went to pay for services, we were charged 250% higher than the previous year for the exact same service. Year over year, it went from $148.39 to $424.56. My husband spoke to the service manager who was anything but polite about the situation. I think this is incomprehensible and that if the service department is expecting customers to pay this rate, they should be up front about the increases. I've already submitted a claim to the better business bureau and plan to put it on all my social media accounts until this gets remedied.

Auto leveling system quit working on…
Auto leveling system quit working on our 2021 Grand Design Solitude that we bought from Bill Plemmons RV in Winston Salem.
Called service department and they said bring it in on Monday September 23 2024 which we did.
We called them back on October 3 2024 to check on the unit. They had no updates.
They called us back on October 8 2024 and said that the unit was fixed and ready for pick up. We asked the service writer what caused the leveling system to become uncalibrated and he said most of the time it was a voltage drop in the batteries.
On October 11 2024 we drove back to pick up the unit. The bill was a little over $200.00. When they finally got the unit brought out to me they had to get a battery jump pack to run the lift system. At this time I thought if a voltage drop can cause the leveling system to become out of calibration then wouldn’t the same thing happen.
We hooked up to it and brought it home. Hooked up to our 50 amp service in the shed and unhooked the unit. We hit the auto level and surprise it didn’t work.
On this same date I called back to the service department to let them know that the leveling system still didn't work and had to leave a voicemail.
On Monday October 14 2024we received a phone call back and they advised that when I was in front of the unit they could walk me through the recalibration. We called them back and of course nobody answered the phone so we had to leave a voicemail.
As of today Thursday October 17 2024 we haven’t received any phone calls or instructions on recalibrating the unit.
So we paid over $200.00 for nothing and no assistance on fixing the problem. Lousy customer service from this place. Buy elsewhere!
Thankfully we found a mobile RV guy in Asheboro NC.

I should have read these reviews first
I should have read these reviews first! I found our new 2024 Jayco Redhawk online on the Blue Compass website. I called the number given and it was listed as the Murpheesboro TN. location. I talked to "Bobby" the salesman I was connected to and went through the whole trade in checklist and pricing for the new unit (about 20 min call) Never to hear from him again. So I went back to the website and learned that the Lebanon TN location had combined with the Murpheesboro location. Theresa the salesperson was very sweet and helpful. We drove over to view the unit and noticed a few minor things that needed to be address prior to our picking it up the following weekend. None of these issues were addressed, we waited almost two hours for the unit to be "checked" out but their service department after knowing for a week we were picking it up. We wanted to add a self leveling kit and possibly solar and could not even get a quote from the service department. They still owe us another set of keys and a blind that was damaged that I'll be shocked if they provide. We even had to beg for a drive out tag. The staff does not know how to return phone calls and the management is so young they can't get a handle on things.............We love the RV but hated the process.

Blue Compass Should Fly the Jolly Roger
My wife and I drove to Blue Compass in Park City, KS, to buy a used fifth wheel. It looked fine in photos and the price was reasonable.
When we arrived they had removed the anode rod from the hot water heater to discourage us from filling the hot water heater and testing it. They had also removed the low point plug from the water system, likely for the same reason. I am an experienced RV person and dealers generally do not do this.
I asked them to provide the dates of the tires manufacture before we arrived and it turned out the tires were six years old. I told them I needed a spare tire to travel to a tire dealer in a nearby town.
They provide a new wheel and tire as part of the "deal." They kept offering to inspect the trailer for me for anywhere from an additional $695 to $1,995, when in fact they knew just about everything about this trailer before they sold it to me.
They also knew that I drove out to Kansas from Pennsylvania and planned to camp in this trailer to drive 1,279 miles home.
When I inspected the trailer, the tires were painted with tire black to look new, even though they had told me these were six year old tires. Who does that?
We left park City for a tire shop in Abilene and of course one of the tires exploded, damaging the under skirting around the wheel well to the tune of about $1,700.
When I went to put on the spare tire, I found that the boxos at Blue Compass, provided me with a five lug 15" wheel for a six-lug spindle. It didn;t fit. Fortunately I was near a mechanical shop which could put my new tire on the old wheel, or I would have been stranded alnga rural Kansas highway.
When we got to our campsite, we learned that the hot water heater did not work. Neither the propane nor the electric heater would operate. After some investigate, I found that 1) the trailer was never de-winterized; 2) the hot water heater had been run in electric mode while empty (in winterized mode) , causing the heating element to burn up.
I de-winterized the unit at the campground and had an RV tech help me replace the electric element and the hot water was back.
While driving home the brakes were sticking on one side of the RV and not working on the other. The GM later said they never check the brakes on vehicles.
How can a dealer issue a temporary Kansas tag for an 1,100 mile trip home to Pennsylvania and not do a safety inspection for things like tires, lights and brakes. This trailer was an accident waiting to happen.
One final note. When they mailed me the new title, they failed to notarize it. I had to overnight the title back to them to have them notarize the transaction and mail it to me a second time.
This dealership is a mixture of amateurs and fraudsters. They want to charge you for everything while not even giving you a safe RV is basic working order to drive home.
They have a beautiful dealership facility in Park City but don't be fooled by the surroundings. They should fly the Jolly Roger on their flagpole because they are more like pirates than an honest RV dealer.

Bought a Class C Entegra Odessy from…
Bought a Class C Entegra Odessy from the Alverado lot, when we were talking to the salesperson, we specifically asked if any Blue Compass in the USA would honor factory warranty. They said definitely, we live 120 miles from the Alverado location. On our second trip water started pouring out from the bottom of a cabinet. We had only been at the park for about 5 hours. We decided to pack up and go home. I called the salesman named Cowboy and told him what happened, he told me the factory warranty was only serviceable at the Alverado location when I reminded him of our conversation about whether any Blue Compass would honor the warranty he denied saying this, my wife is my witness. We would never bought an RV we had to drive 120 miles to have serviced. The problem was the water filter was screwed down at an angle and the o ring was pinched which caused the filter to leak. Stay away from Blue Compass

Blue Compass RV
Blue Compass RV, Ogden Utah
I wanted to inform you that our recent experience with your RV dealership was and has been nothing short of disappointing. Despite making a significant investment close to $100,000, the level of service and support we have received makes it seem as if we had made a trivial $5 purchase.
When we first purchased the RV and was at the dealership, the staff did not provide a thorough explanation of the RV, we were rushed through a “demo”, was given a bag of warranties for the appliances, not a proper manual for the RV is it’s entirety, and had to “beg” that someone take our picture with the new RV!. After we got the RV home we had questions and the non- responsiveness from the staff at Blue Compass RV was inexcusable. No calls were returned and definitely no guidance was provided. I believe that such issues can and should significantly impact your company's reputation and credibility.
As a customer, I value professionalism, and most importantly, the assurance that questions or concerns are properly being addressed. It is believed that such significant investments should be accompanied by a high level of customer service and support, which regrettably, we did not receive. We will NEVER refer anyone to purchase a RV from the Blue Compass RV Dealership in Ogden Utah. WE BOUGHT this RV in April and still are struggling....HORRIBLE experience with the dealership in Ogden Utah
