I do not normally write a review, especially 1 star review. If there was 0 star option I would have chosen that.
Their appointment booking system simply does not work! even when there are slots available, you cannot book an appointment because their live photo verification step always fails! and then it keeps saying you exceeded your attempts and try again. Ridiculously, when you contact their helpline, they advise the same, retry. I sent them a number of emails with their error messages to give them an idea of what was going on and their solution was "retry and confirm an appointment". They offered me doorstep service for which they sent me an invoice for £590! more expensive than the holiday itself!

Horrendous service
Horrendous service. Had to cancel a holiday because it was literally impossible to book an appointment to get a visa despite planning months in advance. Does Spain not want tourists? I will have to look elsewhere for a holiday, specifically a country which doesn't use the "services" of this agent.

BLS is a rip off
This company's aim is only to rob people off. When you try to book an appointment, there are never empty slots. If you email them they tell you to go to the website, which is either non-functional or no available slots to be found.
This pushes you to book the "door step" service which costs 150€ and is "susrprisingly" easy and straightforward.
There is also the option of BUYING these slots from the black market which would cost you a little less than the door step service, if yoy manage to find someone to sell it.
I don't understand how Spain accepts to be affiliated with such a company.

One of the worst agencies ever - be warned
As so many others have said - this BLS company is a complete shambles and seemingly only interested in ripping you off. I really don't believe the reviews of a few people who have awarded them 5 stars are genuine - probably written by their own employees!
Like many others, I have been waiting patiently for appointments to become available for October 2023, but now, on the 29th September their website is malfunctioning.
I took the trouble to telephone BLS and when I was eventually connected, I struggled to understand the very strong Indian accent of the person who answered the call. Initially he tried to say it was my computer, but then admitted there was a problem with their website and suggested that I keep trying.
I decided to test their integrity by filling in their online form to arrange to have the visa processed from home.
WITHIN 15 MINUTES I had an email back from them, along with an invoice for £430.85 and the offer of a very quick appointment.
I declined this exorbitant charge and decided to see if their website had started working again, which it did, a few hours later.
I waited up until midnight on 30 September and again tried to book an appointment slot within the first 15 seconds after the calendar changed to October, but every day in October was blank !
I tried again, this time electing to try the premium option ….. and lo and behold the October calendar appeared as normal but still with ever slot showing as booked.
So we have decided to abandon our planned visit to Spain, since the Spanish Government obviously don’t want foreign tourists from the UK.
My wife and I will spend our vacation money elsewhere in a country which welcomes us.
However, I am not letting this issue rest there. I am going to write a formal letter, in Spanish, to Foreign Minister, José Manuel Albares, who awarded the contract to BLS, with copies going to Héctor Gómez, Minister for Tourism and El Pais, one of Spain’s main daily newspapers.
Not that I expect either of the Ministers to read it, but it might just find its way to someone who will work out how much potential revenue is being lost because this dreadful company are not doing the job they are being paid to do.
If enough people support some action, then maybe BLS will get their comeuppance and their Joint MD, Shikhar Agarwal, will be asked to explain why he says “ This contract will enable us to continue being instrumental in furthering the ongoing expansions of the Visa application Centres for Spain and being a significant contributor to their growth industry”
BLS are contributing only in losing probably millions of pounds, over a short period of time, by not being able to process a “normal” visa.
Obviously, BLS is only interested in processing visa for those who are willing to pay exorbitant fees for their service.
81% of the poor reviews for this company says it all !
If you really want to go to Spain perhaps you should take a short break to another country just to get a Schengen visa and then you need not have the hassle of dealing with BLS

Abusive tactics and extortion
This company uses abusive tactics to extort people out of their money. As a Spaniard, I'm ashamed the Spanish government uses their services and forces people to apply for visa via this company.

Is there a 0 star option?
Is there a 0 star option?? I made my appointment online but I accidentally made an individual appointment rather than a family appointment. I'm trying to cancel it online but the system doesn't allow me to do it, telling me to check my information and reenter the correct one. All the info I'm using is correct. I call the call center and they can not help me and tell me to send an email. I've been sending multiple emails and no one resposes. I call them, they tell me to send an email. It's a dead end. My appointment is next week and if I don't cancel it before, even though I don't attend that appointment, I can not get a new one after. They tell me since my passport number is in the system, I can not get a new appointment after it's canceled. This is a nonresolvable loop, I think I won't be going to Spain ever.

Frauds and rip off merchants.
Frauds and rip off merchants.
How the Spanish Embassy allows these people to act as their agents is unbelivable. You will NEVER be able to get an appointment unless you pay £75.00 for the laughable 'Premium Service'.

Doesn't deserve a star
Doesn't deserve a star. This place is money focused and they sell all the regular and premium appointments to the agents. You end up paying 3 times instead. Total rip off
