FORGET SPAIN - Avoid at all costs
I saw the reviews and I still gave this office the benefit of the doubt (I thought; it really can't be that bad). But I actually had a terrible experience. 1. When you walk inside the office you don't know what's happening, there's no check-in sheet or a number you take to put you in queue. The staff looks and sees if there are new faces and they ask you if you have an appointment, and they start looking for your name in their papers (good luck if you have an uncommon name) 2. The staff is very unprofessional (I hate to say that because I saw them trying) but they seriously need some training on every aspect that involves visas 3. I came in following all and I mean ALL the points listed on their website and I had all the required documents readyyyy and they kept saying (oh the website needs to be updated, we're working with the IT team to get the requirements updated) it is not my problem that you're not doing your job right - you should have accepted all the documents I provided. But no, they didn't. Example: their website recommends to NOT book a flight until approved, and when I was there they told me that I'd need to buy the flight on the spot :) I honestly changed my mind about visiting Spain mainly because of this experience and the documents required to apply for their visa are just RIDICULOUS.
