The first Month I ordered flowers for my mother I was really impressed with them so decided to continue for an additional month. The flowers this month have been super disappointing to say the least

Did not receive what I ordered!!!
I ordered what appeared to be a gorgeous peachy/pale pink floral arrangement for my mom’s birthday. She’s been given about a year on life expectancy and this may be her last birthday. I was trying to do all I could to make it as perfect as possible with all her favorite things. I normally order flowers online from Bouq’s but saw an add for BloomsyBox online and thought I would give them a try. I selected an arrangement in colors and flowers that I knew she would love. The tracking info was great and I received notifications about shipment and delivery. Unfortunately what actually arrived on her birthday looked nothing like what I ordered! So much so, that when I arrived at her home I had to ask her where the m flowers were that we had ordered her. I was shocked, saddened, and angry about what was delivered. The company had “run out” of the flowers we chose and instead of contacting me to ask for an alternative choice, BloomsyBox decided to send a replacement arrangement of their choosing. The alternative arrangement did use Roses and Gerber Daisy’s as was in our original order, however the entire bouquet was in deep fuchsia and bright red color palette with a few wisps in deep purple. It is something you would have sent to your valentine on Valentine’s Day and not something you would have sent to your mom! The flower arrangement was accompanied by a note saying sorry for the inconvenience and informing that they increased the size of the arrangement as an apology for the inconvenience caused. Unfortunately my mom and I both hated the flowers! Way too RED & BRIGHT. Increasing the # of blooms only added to the tackyness of the arrangement! If BloomsyBox had replaced the flowers with different flowers in a color palette similar to what we had ordered it would’ve been fine. Color is everything!!! I would have preferred no flowers at all over the arrangement that was sent. Had I been notified in advance I could’ve chosen another option or gone shopping and created a beautiful arrangement on my own & it would’ve been something my mom loved rather than the bright eyesore that was delivered. I’ve never ordered from BloomsyBox before and never will again! I will go back to Bouqs who are reliable and consistent with every order I have ever placed! I’ve reached out to BloomsyBox and requested a refund, time will tell what their response is to my complaint. I’ve given them 2 stars as the arrangement arrived on time and the flowers look healthy. If there is no resolution to my complaint then I will reduce my stars to 1. Be cautious if you choose to order from them… you may not receive anything like what you order.
Response from BloomsyBoxJul 17, 2024
Dear Customer,
First and foremost, I want to extend my sincerest apologies for your disappointing experience with our service, especially considering the significance of your mother’s birthday. We deeply regret that the arrangement did not meet your expectations and understand how crucial it was for everything to be perfect on such an important day.
We strive to provide the highest quality service and products, and it's clear that we fell short in this instance. We intended to ensure timely delivery with an upgraded bouquet, but we understand that the colors and overall appearance did not align with what you had envisioned. Communication is critical, and we should have offered alternatives when the flowers you selected were unavailable.
We appreciate your feedback and are taking it to heart. This incident highlights areas we need to improve, mainly how we handle substitutions and communicate with our customers. We want to make this right for you and ensure this does not happen again.
Regarding your refund request, our customer service team is reviewing your case, and you will receive a response shortly. Your satisfaction is our top priority, and we hope to resolve this matter to your satisfaction.
Again, we truly apologize for the inconvenience and distress this has caused you and your mother. Thank you for allowing us to address this issue and for your understanding and patience during this process.
Best regards,
Josh Martinez

Great at first but went way down hill…
I subscribed to the New York Botanic Gardens bouquet back in January and it was amazing a first. After a few months they started to arrive dried and dead or moldy and died in a few days. I asked them to replace one shipment it was so bad. They did replace it but required photos and long explanations. They sent a much cheaper looking bouquet that was not the same flowers as the NYBG subscription. They started to cut corners on each shipment it seems as my most recent bouquet before canceling was three proteas and the rest was baby’s breath and eucalyptus stems. I am happy to pay for a quality service but sadly Bloomsy just doesn’t offer than anymore.

DISAPOINTED!!!
DISAPOINTED!!!! Just received my flowers. Im not going to lie: they are beautiful. But it is not what I expected. I ordered the NYGB subscription at $99 a month. They advertised that it was a unique "hand-crafted bouquets inspired by The New York Botanical Garden." At that price, I expected something glorious. I was also under the impression that I would be getting a vase along with it. Boy was I wrong. Again, the flowers are beautiful (although about a quarter of them are already wilting) but they are ALL tulips! NOTHING UNIQUE ABOUT THIS BOUQUE. If that was all I was going to get, I could have just ordered Tulips at half the price. No vase either. This is AFTER they screwed up the delivery time.
Update: I complained and they told me that I had received the wrong flowers and they would get me what I requested. OMG I wish I could post a photo of what the replaced the Tulips with! It looked like a bouquet out of a grocery store!! The Tulips were much more gorgeous than this. In the flower box, there was a note saying Lillies were the featured flower for this month's NYGB collection. Not a single Lilly in the bouquet. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!
PS, just 4 days later, those beautiful Tulips are ALL wilted.

Ordered 2 bouquets
Ordered 2 bouquets, one for each daughter, for Valentine's Day. Neither delivery had wrapped the stems at all or provided moisture for them. They were loose in the box so not protected from movement during delivery. One arrangement (tropical) had damage to the leaves, but the flowers were okay. The other arrangement (flowers) had many stems, but the flowers were in poor condition. I complained about the floral delivery, they sent another arrangement a week later, but it was almost in worse shape. Never reached a representative in person after that, but did express my dissatisfaction and requested some type of adjustment since the cost of this arrangement was nearly $100. Never heard back--cannot recommend this company to anyone.

I do not recommend
I ordered a monthly subscription for my mom and for 3 months she received dying flowers in poor condition. The flowers lasted 2-3 days at most. Roses arrived brown around the edges of the petals, limp, sad, and a total waste of money. They refunded my money so I did add one more star for customer service. Very disappointing to purchase this for someone else, only to have her tell me that she doesn't want to receive it any longer because it is a waste of my money.

Read this before buying!
Bought the 6 month pre pay for my wife for our 3 year wedding anniversary. $350 for 6 months. Her first box arrived yesterday. Arrived on time and box was not damaged. I paid for the "premium" package thinking it would be a more impressive arrangement. What she received looked like someone had went to the local grocery store, spent $8 and put some flowers in a box. I hope this is a fluke but I did some research on reviews for this company (after I purchased it as I am a bone headed male) and found very similar reviews. they either get 1 or 5 stars. If you do the math you could pay a local flower shop $60 once a month to get fresh cut and arrangement of your choice. This at the end of the day is a terrible deal and the product that arrived made it even worse. We'll I'm out $350 and my wife's response when she saw the flowers? "It's the thought that counts." Will leave you with that.

Great flowers; too bad they can't get the message from sender right
March 1, 2021 UPDATE:
Someone from BloomsyBox contacted me by email after my original review and promised to have a card sent with the following month's flowers expressing the sentiments they were supposed to send at the start of the subscription. I didn't say anything to my wife, anticipating a nice surprise for her. Good thing: that card didn't arrive last month or this month - yet another empty promise.
This month's flowers weren't zip-tied in the box so all the tallest blooms were smashed from bouncing around in the box during shipping. Worse, many of the rose buds were dying, apparently from the cold weather this winter. But, none of that really mattered because within 48 hours, all the roses were brown and dead. I'm sure BloomsyBox would have been very nice over the phone and offer a partial refund to my credit card, but I'm no longer willing to do business with a company who simply doesn't follow thru.
After 6 months without receiving a single flower shipment that was "as promised", I'm joining the substantial percentage of reviewers who rate them 2 stars or lower.
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
Flowers and shipping are 5 star. They seem smashed at first but, as the instructions advise, patience and 24 hours in water results in 90% recovering fully. The blooms that don't get snipped off. Assortment so far has been varied and attractive, and quality of flowers is similar to Whole Foods or local florists, albeit more expensive. I gave my wife a surprise one-year subscription in honor of our 50th wedding anniversary. Unfortunately, the enclosed card with the first shipment had someone else's name and said, "we are praying for the best...I know you can beat this" and was signed by someone else! I called customer service and a very nice lady promised to straighten this out, since someone else got the card and sentiments for my wife. The second month's shipment had no card so I tried email support. They explained that they only send cards with the first shipment but promised to send one in the third shipment. Yup, it arrived yesterday without any card. So, I give BloomsyBox 3 stars overall because they're not able to connect the card with the subscription box even after multiple requests. If these were shipped somewhere other than my home, there's no way I would have known about this snafu.
