If I could give them NEGATIVE STARS I would! They do NOT REPLY to customer complaints or problems. They LIE about fixes they say they are working on and they ONLY WANT YOU MONEY but lose your images and files PERMANENTLY! PAY FOR A HDD AND KEEP YOUR FILES SAFE!

We’ll be happy to review your concerns and make sure they receive proper attention. This is not the experience we want our users to have.

Do not use this cloud storage provider
I tried Blomp for cloud backup, as they're by far the cheapest option, and it even supports rclone.
You know the idiom, "you get what you pay for"? That absolutely applies here. Files are frequently corrupted in transit, and Blomp's backend seems to lose track of uploaded data. That is, of course, when you can upload the files. I frequently ran into 503 Service Unavailable errors when using their service. My rclone log was almost nothing but 503 Service Unavailable, Dangling object, Object Not Found, and miscellaneous data corruption errors.
Their support is notoriously slow. They're perfectly happy to charge you on-time though. Everything on their forum feels like it was written by an AI. Makes sense, given the name of the parent company, AiNET. Then again, I'm sure AI could make a better service than this.
Please, use anything else. Unless you like data corruption.

Only use this service provider if you want to lose your files!
Only use this service provider if you want to lose your uploaded files!
When uploading through the browser, you’re lucky if even half of your files show up in the destination folder, and even then, some of them appear without a file size, which means you’ll end up downloading random-sized, corrupted files.
If you try clearing cookies and logging in again, the “My Files” section becomes inaccessible. Eventually, you won’t even be able to log into your account at all. To make matters worse, their support/contact form doesn’t work either, so you’re left with no way to regain access to your account.

Hey,
We're sorry to hear about the trouble you ran into, we can see how frustrating that must have been.
We did want to let you know that Blomp was undergoing scheduled maintenance around the time you experienced these issues, which may have caused the upload inconsistencies and login difficulties. Things are fully back up and running now.
Regarding the contact form, our forms should have been working fine throughout, could you let us know which form you used or where you found it? That way we can check if there was something specific going on there.
Either way, we'd love to look into your account personally and make sure everything is sorted for you. Feel free to reach out to us anytime at [email protected], our team is available 24/7 and happy to help.
Kind regards,
Blomp Support

7KB file when I download my Photos
When I download my Photos, I get a 7KB file that cannot be opened or previewed by my Mac, but I can see it is a 9MB file in the folder on the Mac app

Hey,
We’re sorry to hear you ran into this issue.
In some cases, download issues like this can be related to the file not fully completing the download process correctly, which may result in a very small unreadable file appearing locally instead of the original content.
Please contact us directly at [email protected] with the affected file details and we’ll gladly investigate this further for you. Our support team is available 24/7, and issues like this can often be resolved once reported.
Kind regards,

This will eat your files and you won't ever see it again
Application was taking too long to upload to the cloud so I thought 'Why don't I delete what I have on the website, them just upload them directly to the site?'. So I did and it deleted the files from my computer. This piece of garbage software is fake and is NOT trusted to store files that are important. Genuinely malware.

Hey Will
We’re sorry to hear about your experience and understand your frustration.
Based on how BlompGo works technically, deleting files from the Blomp dashboard or mounted Blomp drive would only remove files stored inside that same cloud-backed storage location. It would not delete unrelated folders or files elsewhere on your computer.
If files were moved into the BlompGo drive itself, then deleting them from the dashboard would also remove them from that same storage space, since both locations are linked.
We tested the account and uploads/deletions are functioning normally on our side, but we would still genuinely like to investigate this further with you.
Please contact us directly at [email protected] with more details about the affected folders and where the files were originally stored before upload so our team can review everything carefully.
Kind regards,
Blomp Support

I’m the kind of person who hoards files…
I’m the kind of person who hoards files JUST IN CASE, so my phone and laptop r always screaming abt low storage. A freiend told me about blomp, and I use it now for it. i am almost out of storage so i might buy some, but i think it's a cool little startup cloud storage (I say startup bcause they call themselves beta). Straightforward, clean and easy.

NO file size limits! USA based speeds! Affordable! No ads/tracking! I'm sold, reviewing the paid plan. :)
Blomp is the understated billionaire you know who still bags his own supermarket food and dresses in Old Navy, with the friendly nickname. Blomp. Sounds cool. 😊 It isn't pretentious or sleek in user interface. I don't care. Guess why? Because it does what those cool looking clouds don't: IT WORKS BEAUTIFULLY ON MY PROFESSIONAL FILES SMALL AND LARGE IN SIZE. IT DOES THE JOB WELL!
Blomp is my backup to IceDrive, another excellent service I cannot stop speaking about. IceDrive is my #1, Blomp my #2, and some of you may like that setup like me.
The no file size limit issue is a big deal coming from seeing caps on every major and new name in cloud services. Great if you're storing some photos. For real work needs and growing personal goals like any of us might have in school, business, corporate life, and/or the performing arts, you need a more serious drive. Serious isn't always going to come packaged cute.
Paid users don't get kicked out if not logging in for a year. Thank goodness, because that's so ableist to anyone like the professionals I know who have dealt with long term illness and/or cancer and need others to check their digital accounts to prevent losing them.
I wish they had lifetime plans. Yes, I wish they had payments outside of Amazon because I prefer straight up paying off my credit card and don't use Amazon most days.
After a purchase gone wrong this week that seemed promising, after dealing with nice people with a meh product, and the past years rude people with good products, it's exhausting. I found Blomp accidentally online.
It's not the most well known, so hopefully my review here adds to their mystique and gets people who care about a product over what it looks like to try it. I don't care how attractive a human is. If you are a terrible person, I'm not going to date you. That's how I am with tech. Blomp rocks.
USA speeds are good enough for me, and I like supporting a USA business that isn't one of the big tech companies!

Hi there,
This was such a thoughtful and genuinely heartwarming review to read, thank you for taking the time to share your experience so openly.
We love the way you described Blomp, that “understated billionaire” analogy really made us smile. It perfectly captures what we aim for, a service that focuses on doing the job reliably and well, without unnecessary extras getting in the way.
It means a lot to hear that Blomp is supporting your professional work, especially with large files and real world needs. That is exactly where we want to deliver the most value. Your point about no file size limits is also something we take seriously, because we know how restrictive that can be on other platforms.
Your feedback about lifetime plans and alternative payment options is noted carefully. These are the kinds of suggestions that help shape where we go next, and we will absolutely keep them in mind as we continue improving.
It is wonderful to hear that you found us, even by accident, and that we have earned a place in your setup.
If you ever need anything at all, or have more ideas to share, feel free to reach out to us anytime at [email protected], we are always happy to help.
Thank you again for your kind words and for supporting us. We are really glad to have you with us.
