Blog RedditReviews of blog.reddit.com

Site owner Spez ruined the once great site

one of my favorite sites to spend my spare time at, since 8 years ago. I never get tired of reddit

I really hope this review gets published because people need to know about how pathetic this site is… As I’ve said previously my last user account was defunct thanks to the terribly organized karma points system. A points total of -6 meant I could not longer post anywhere. Like I said before the karma system is completely subjective: you could be of the opinion that ‘the earth is round’ but 10 flat-earthers could potentially come along to downvote you thus leaving you with -10 karma (you can see where I’m going with this)… So the only option left to me was to create another account with a fresh email, which I did. It was going fine. I made a new post on one nsfw (not safe for work) subreddit called r/ukpunting (this particular subreddit has zero posts so I was in fact helping to get off the ground). Few days later I made another post on r/sexworkers. My contribution proved to be popular, remaining near the top. Same day I made a third post, once again on r/ukpunting but after this I was banned for absolutely no reason whatsoever. I found that my 3 threads had been completely erased, including any replies I got from other people. Its as if I’d never existed. Why was Reddit so anxious to wipe all memory of me? I really don’t get it. Nothing about my posts broke any rules nor was I trolling. There was absolutely zero racist content, zero sexist content, nothing that would insult anyone. In contrast to people who post pictures with no text or post nonsense like ‘Omg I think I fancy my daughter-in-law…’ my contributions were original and informative. I spent a good few hours writing those posts so I’m extremely angry that these c*nts can treat you like with all your efforts going to waste. Reddit claims to be the front page of the internet, but it’s the front page of ludicrous censorship and it shares this with other discussion sites such as Mumsnet and Youtube. This strange censorship has nothing to do with enforcing any rules, its simply mods doing whatever the f/ck they want.

The layers and content found on Reddit are quite simply astounding, there is a community for absolutely everything you can think of on here, and you are joined by 100s/1000s/10,000s etc of like-minded people on your chosen communities who are also as passionate and knowledgeable as the rest. You can spend hours upon hours discovering new subs to occupy and stimulate the mind, it's hands down my favourite place to browse on the internet, amazing content

most things esp the trolled hatred blogs make it bad to trust anything blogged here and it's moderated in favour for trollers not the trustworthy people

ℹ️ on Reddit Reddit is a social media service like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat & more. However Reddit’s different. 1. You can either, post to your own profile, or you can post to a subreddit (please read the about part on each subreddit before you post) 2. (Same as other sites) if you post too much, it will suspend you from posting & replying for a few minutes (to reduce spam:)

Awesome site! I can find a subreddit for pretty much anything filled with fun people, useful info and funny memes.
