Reddit is a mean, mean place. Consistently, whatever you post there you people will be jerks to you. Not a good place to get your questions answered. Reddit is also a crappy traffic source. A bunch of times I've had shareworthy stuff that I posted on Reddit and it either got censored or never reached traction. I give it two stars because it does have a lot of users. Every once in a while I actually get good info from a subreddit. Some of the subreddit are not that bad.

Reddit is run by pedophiles. If you support reddit you are supporting pedophilia. Also, reddit is not responding to my support requests to remove my name and personal identifying information from their website that was posted by anonymous user with the intention to cause me harm. This is against their own policies stated on their site that prohibit posting personal identifying information.But when it happens they do nothing, causing me harm, damages to business and loses for over a year. For over a year I tried to contact reddit but they ignore every message. Please don't support reddit, if you support reddit you are supporting child rapists. I can say that, because if they allow to post my identifying information on their website with false accusations by anonymous users, they should have no problem when it's done to them, right? So reddit CEO Steve Huffman is a pedophile. Jen Wongreddit COOis a pedophile. Christopher Slowe reddit CTO is a pedophile. All people behind reddit are pedophiles. If you use reddit you are supporting pedophiles.

I often found it difficult to avoid content that is illegal in the UK. I joined a discussion forum about the news. Someone said that the UK should become a theocracy. I said that was against our basic principles. A user responded that I should go back to "the_donald". I do not know what that is so asked politely what they were referring to. I hit respond but it wouldn't send. I found out I was banned with no reason given. I saw that I could reply and asked why. I was told that I was an islamophobic scumbag. After that I left the site. I don't think it's a real discussion forum. It appears to be some kind of prank or troll site.

Do NOT ever advertise with Reddit! They are supposed to charge you monthly, or when a certain threshold is reached. In my case they delivered my ads for just 19 USD within 3 weeks, but charged me 20 USD every week. For no reason, with no explanation, not even with a reply to my support inquiry. This company is the worst for advertising. I found other people testing Reddit ads with the same result, that they paid hundreds of dollars on ads for no leads. A total waste of money. And the support is ridiculous. Because my concern is related to billing, the general support will not get involved with my problem at all. But the billing department has no email address, and is not responding on my concerns when I use their online contact form.

Unfortunately some groups are not as good as others,living here in the Vancouver British Columbia area if you write something even if it's about another culture they say it's racist even if it's true so they censor you but will still let bad things happen just as long as it doesn't get publicized, and they don't mind publicizing violence but just don't say if it has anything to do with racism or anything

I was on Reddit for just 2 days. I had high hopes that this was the site for me. My mistake was venturing out of the (civilised) discussion groups I selected to post a slightly wry comment on general humour. I was immediately accosted by a foul-mouthed orc and when I responded ( 2nd mistake) he called me a c...etc. Another orc then backed him up. Too toxic. I’ve read that the membership is 70%+ male...I’m not surprised It’s partly a foul-mouthed boys club. You get to post your reason why you left the site but they don’t really care. Probably legislation is coming but there will always be chimpanzees and I can’t see any social media site adequately dealing with all of it. Lesson. If you join one stay in civilised groups and don’t venture out...there are wolves out there.
