Terrible platform run by incompetent and politically motivated moderators who are quick to remove people they disagree with but happy to condone bullying, racist tropes and jokes about child abuse. It's not a remotely safe or positive environment.

This crap blog will ban you just cause you have an opinion different than some other people. If you said something that other dont agree they ban you..... Its just waste of time to try post there knowing some will complain and they will ban you MOST CRAP SITE EVER.....

The best place for criminals. Their communities are full of shitholes which only US citizens will be happy about. Reddit is also being censored for no reason. Do not engage in any activitivism here. Don't use Reddit as your only platform. It's not reliable. They don't have tools to detect reposts. Some users go wild with very frequent reposts. They provide tools for crossposts, but they forgot tools to exclude crossposts. Users can delete their account.

Will ban you for "abuse" when you're asleep, and have no way to appeal especially when you had no involvement. There is absolutely no way to talk to Reddit in instances like this, they act like they are god and that they know it all even without your knowledge or input

Reddit is just terrible! I just found a post that this user made but... WHENEVER I CLICK CHANGE USERNAME, IT SAYS "SORRY, YOU CAN'T CHANGE THAT USERNAME". ALSO, WHEN I CLICK FOLLOW TO THIS USER, IT SAYS "Something went wrong. Please try again". WHY DOES REDDIT DO THIS, I CAN'T HANDLE IT ANYMORE. And also...GO AWAY FROM THIS SITE AND FIND GOOD PLACES!!

Lots of good content on Reddit and the website works fine. Reddit moderators themselves seem okay from what I've seen. However, there's a fundamental flaw with Reddit's design. It's like Discord but public. The people who moderate Subreddits can literally ban whoever they want, whenever they want, for any reason. Unsurprisingly plenty of them are authoritarian fascists who see freedom of expression as a threat to their opinions they want to force on others. So the moderators of r/Britain have banned me permanently for stating that it is more likely boat migrants are coming to the UK for the economy, as refugees don't travel across the world to dangerously try to enter a country that doesn't accept them. If Britain was invaded, we wouldn't smuggle ourselves to Cambodia to be put into a prison. An entirely reasonable and unhateful statement. Another subreddit r/therewasanattempt with "ACAB" (an anarchist hate slogan) in the rules banned me for being apalled by a video of several men attacking a lone police officer making an arrest and commending a female officer for stepping in the way. And there is NOTHING you can do. I can't report a Subreddit for being run by an anarchist hate group and I can't ask Reddit to dispute the ban (that would cost them money). If you want free discussion Reddit does not offer that, it is a collection of private echo chambers open to the public where you must comply with what the few moderators enforce. This results in a poor experience using Reddit, because you can suddenly be banned from posting on your favourite subreddits forever purely because some insecure fascist doesn't like you or your opinions.

Allows Islamophobia, racism, anti Christianity, bans users who post about Islam and Christianity but keeps people who call Muslims terrorists and Christians "fairy tale believers", wouldn't recommend you support this platform in any way.
