I’ve tried to like this site. It doesn’t seem to matter what subreddit I am in, anyone who posts comments that dont align with what the majority is thinking will immediately be downvoted and no doubt some “expert” will be sure to post an insulting comment in response. Simple innocuous posts, are suddenly victim to a barrage of downvotes and rude comments because someone disagrees. The majority of users may not act this way, but enough of the users do, so that the site is unusable by anyone who doesn’t use the internet for arguing, since that is all Reddit seems to be about. Trashing people with different ideas then yours. That is Reddit. Narrow mindedness for the masses, as though the world needs more of that.

Reddit is one of the sites i use most. Despite all the negative comments I'd like to say something positive. Reddit's huge selection of subreddits have helped me a lot with questions related to technical issues, music, parties, etc. I skip all the news reddits or reddits about politics, war, etc. When you are looking for answers about technical things, or join some funny subreddits, the site will be pretty okay. I am on there every day and have never been annoyed by people or bigotry or whatever like that, i dont even see it come by. This is because Reddit only shows you posts from subreddits you sign up to, so all the people that see bigotry or hate speech or whatever, should just not join those subreddits and only join subreddits with topics they do like. There are a few really useful subreddits which are my places to go to get certain information and when its not there i ask and get an answer.

This app is laughable there’s nothing more sad than a 64-year-old discord mod transferring to Reddit and taking your post down because they feel it doesn’t have enough karma people can post all day the craziest dumbest post but when someone post someone legitimate concern, your post gets taken down sad world we live in for those gigantic tortilla mouth, shoving mod transferring to Reddit you do not have freedom to say what you want don’t get me started on PC players they will downvote anything even their mother

Reddit is an utterly garbage site, its admin and moderators absolutely biased, they do not punish or take action against offensive, abusive perps who post harassing or hateful comments Instead of banning the person, they rejected complaints made against a particularly vile individual for their comment. This site totally Sucks, steer well clear.

Do not use this app if your looking for a place that's free speech. The sad Reddit mods will look for any reason to take your post down and ban you, even when you're acting within rules , for instance I posted an Xbox club to the Xbox sub Reddit and got banned by a trigger happy mod with no reasoning or understanding skills, most sub Reddits are like this. I’m actually really glad that I deleted my account due to burnout, a huge lack of interacting with others based on my favorite fictional media there, and most people acting biased/puritan despite there being a community mute filter. At least my posts and comments are disassociated, it was mainly about my opinions, goofy stuff, supporting artists, and close calls. One real story post was nothing outright explicit yet the system decided to label my story as “NSFW”; I because I said I could’ve gotten injured or killed by dangerous pitbull dogs on the streets… That kind of censorship is insane... And that’s coming from someone who’s actually mainly SFW because some NSFW things can make me uncomfortable. Ever since the API protests on June 2023 and the free reward gifting completely ceased, I should’ve deleted my account here and then like several people did… While I’m technically a free user, those stupid prices of the new rewards gifting system is insane. And Karma points are kinda confusing? It’s like you have to be frequently active or something… People weren’t kidding when there’s a subreddit for nearly everything including problematic content, so it’s like the infamous 4Chan, unhinged people… the censorship is insane but not as bad as Twitter.
