As an OB/GYN nurse
As an OB/GYN nurse, I was excited when my provider switched me to this medication. I have several patients on this medication, and I thought this would be a good way for me to actually experience what my patients go through. I was very disappointed in the fact that my provider ordered a 90 day supply, yet only a 30 day was delivered. My concern with this is that considering my medication is a birth control, if the next refill is not mailed to me on time, it can cause complications. Patients are on birth control for many different reasons, from contraception to abnormal uterine bleeding. I have only yet received my first month supply, so I am anxiously awaiting to see how the next one arrives. Although I love the medication, this is gonna be a great way for me to experience this from the opposite side. I want to make sure that both my provider and myself are making the best decision for our patients, which means that there is not a lapse within their treatment plan.
