I have tried several prescription eye medications. The last one was Miebo. I got two of the small vials to try out before I purchased the prescription. I was shocked to see that it was $600 and that was with insurance! Those drops did nothing any better than the Systane that I was using and can get very reasonably that at most any store. I use it about every hour and sometimes more. Now I have tried Blink and it is preforming much better that Meibo. I still have to use Systane, but it s use has been cut in half. Hopefully when I try to fill the prescription after this free bottle, I will not be blown away with the price like I was with Meibo. I may just have to rely on Systane and keep using something that I can afford. Time will tell. It just seems that when a prescription works, it is not in my formulary, as the insurance company proudly says. Then it is so prohibitively costly for most retired people who want to eat real food.
