Blink Health: A Sordid Debacle on its Best Day
The Blink Health website allowed me to order, pay for, and arrange pick-up at a local pharmacy -- all without the prescription of a doctor. They took $2,576.77 from my checking account without a problem. But the local pharmacy had no record of my order. After repeated phone calls to the Blink Health "customer care" line and being put on hold for well over 1-1/2 hours total, I was finally able to speak with a human being, who was able to cancel my order. She had no explanation though, as to why the order was ever able to be placed, without a doctor being involved.

Hello Josh, Thank you for reaching out. We appreciate that you brought this to our attention. We value all customer feedback, both negative and positive. Please note, when the medication that is sought after is displayed on the Blink Health website, a banner is provided under the available pricing options informing users "Prescription is required" for pick-up our Home delivery. Our services work the same way as it would when filling a medication at your local pharmacy. A prescription must be on file so that the pharmacy can provide your medication accordingly based on the instructions provide by your Doctor. You can complete a purchase at the Blink price and hold onto it until you have a valid prescription from the doctor. For pickup orders, Blink purchases never expire and are 100% refundable until the medication is filled at the pharmacy. We apologize that you did not have a positive experience with Blink. We hope that every customer is satisfied with his or her interaction with Blink and has a positive experience. Thank you for your feedback!
