Totally incompetent, unethical, and likely illegal actions
Totally incompetent, unethical, and potentially illegal actions - They didn’t respond for multiple days to an order for a medication that is needed to function daily. When they do reach out, it’s one person after another who doesn’t seem to know what they’re doing. Each time they transfer you, you have to start over again with the next person. Then you’re told that they can’t expedite the shipping and it’s going to be 5 to 7 business days before you get the prescription when they’ve already had you waiting for 5 1/2 days while they did processing. If you ask to speak with a supervisor, you’re told it’s two business days before anyone’s going to get back to you. Update: After I wrote this review, the insanity continued. They received the prescription on December 22, 2024. They manage to hold out on following up until multiple days into 2025. I informed them repeatedly that, besides urgently needing this medication, my old insurance coverage with no co-pay, which they verified on the 26th, was expiring at the end of the month. Suddenly, they pop up again, the first week of January, and they want me to cough up a co-pay. Additionally, my doctor and I attempted to change the prescription to another pharmacy later in December so it was filled. Blink actively blocked the prescription being transferred. This reality was verified by the other pharmacy and later by Blink. It wasn’t until I threaten legal action more than a week into January that they released the prescription. It took multiple outreach attempts from my doctor as well to force Blink to release the prescription. By the time it could be filled and shipped by the new company, I had gone almost a month with my eyesight increasingly becoming worse to the point that I could not work more than two or three hours a day cumulatively, costing my family, and I substantial income as I’m a single parent. I repeatedly pointed out to Blink what was happening and begged them to fill the prescription and was brushed aside. I’m filing complaints with the Attorney General’s office over unethical and I would think illegal practices. First, they hold the prescription. Then they try to force me to make a co-pay when none was originally due. They intentionally slow down communication so you can’t reach a supervisor to complain the same and sometimes even the next day. In the process, they blocked the prescription from being moved to another pharmacy that will do the job in a reasonable timeframe. This is some scam they have going here!
