So I’m not really impressed with this insert I think it should have another log on it to cover up those silver petals that roll around that make the blaze and also I’m disappointed with the amount of heat. It’s pushing out that was the reason I wanted it my $99 one at Amazon pushed out more heat than this one although it did break so it was cheap. I thought if I spent a little more money, I get a better product but I’m a little disappointed.

The sand mold casting was a little rough! And why would you not put the guides on the back . So if you wanted to mount it to a side wall. The lettering would be upside down. For the slides to work.

I bought the Empire Burncrete logs w/IP thermostat. I love the logs and how they look. I just wish I could adjust the flame a little lower than the low setting goes. My old logs were much more adjustable. I could go anywhere from high down to pilot. Maybe I can do it with this log set but I haven’t figured it out yet. Also the price is right!

First shipment was damaged. Customer Service was easy to reach, responsive and quick to ship out a replacement. Would have given Five Stars but boxes for both shipments were pretty beat up upon arrival and product should have had more protective packing material.

Easy to order and quick delivery. However, teh package was all torn up when I received it. I know the products were heavy and odd shaped, but you may look to change/improve the packaging.
