The oil filter used in the kit you received uses MAHLE's improved eco-friendly design with the felt-membrane material that is visually different than the original filter design, which may be causing the confusion. I see your order was placed on November 25th (Thanksgiving Day) with our "Free Economy - 5-10 Business Days" method. Unfortunately Blauparts was closed Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday this year for the holidays, so a few extra days were required to ship your order. Unfortunately, because of the incredibly busy Black Friday and Cyber Monday shopping season, internet commerce is at an all-time high, creating unprecedented levels of residential deliveries, causing shipping delays. Hi Thomas, thank you for taking the time to give us some feedback and we're glad to hear you were satisfied with our delivery and price. Our oil change kit for the Sprinter 3.0L diesel should always come with 1 copper oil pan drain plug crush washer. This washer is dimensionally in accordance with Sprinter specifications for this washer. It is also possible that the drain plug washer might have been double pulled in our fulfillment warehouse giving you quantity 2 of these—in which case one can be kept as a spare. We apologize for any confusion this might have caused.

Unfortunately many shipping carriers including USPS and Canada Post are still suffering from COVID-related delays due to increases in shipments, customs backups, and employee shortages at various package delivery hubs. However, while USPS tracking does not show an update since May 5th, it is likely due to the package being transferred to Canada Post for final delivery. As shown in the Canada Post tracking below as of May 11th it is in transit. We recommend signing up for delivery updates for the package from Canada Post and allowing a few extra days for delivery. Due to online credit card fraud being at an all-time high in the United States, the fraud detection suite provided by our major credit card merchant currently flags any order being shipped to a different state than it is billed to, since the vast majority of these orders tend to be fraudulent using a stolen card. However, our customer service department will always reach out via email to inform the customer of this action with the option to email back if they believe the order is legitimate. The order can then be re-placed and manually verified. Or you can choose to use another payment method like PayPal or Amazon Pay as those services authenticate you as the owner of the account and shipping to an address different from your billing address is possible.
