Unfortunately, as with many of the other reviewers I'm having a verification issue which is preventing me from withdrawing. The only reason for such a low rating is the lack of communication, when you're dealing with large sums of money, you really want faster feedback. If you ignore the current support issues, the site's actually pretty straight forward and has a clearer UI than it's competitors. EDIT: Despite hearing tales of waiting for months to be verified, I was verified within 5 working days, not too bad. It would have been nice to have received some reassuring feedback a bit earlier, but it wasn't nearly as bad as some seem to suggest

Edit of 31st december 2017: I've changed my rating. Bittrex's support finally solved my problem. Original comment: The 10th November I had a failed ID verification because my previous entered name didn't match with my name in the passport. The same day I ask to the support to give me the possibility to correct my name in order that the ID verification can be accepted. One month later I still have no answer, I try to ask them one more time to help me on my problem and they give me an automatic bot answer as following: " Due to un unprecedented amount of growth in a relatively short amount of time we're experiencing a longer than usual wait time responding to and resolving your requests. This wait time has also increased the number of duplicate tickets entered on the same issues, further slowing down our agents ability to get to your request in a timely manner. We apologize greatly for the wait and we are actively training new personnel and streamlining our support system to better handle the demand. " If Bittrex's team is reading my review, please read finally my support ticket #423087 ... I am asking you simply to give me the possibility to change my previous entered name in order that it will match will my ID. If you can help me on this, i'll change my rating to 5 stars. Good, friendly and intuitive interface, BUT: i can`t to deposit money because i can't to generate new addresses for the wallets! This is due to lack of verification. I have been waiting for the manual verification till November,16. (They wrote: "Manual review typically takes 7 days but could be longer based on demand"). I waited two weeks. Then I created support ticket on December, 1: Request # 564630. Today is December,12 and NOTHING! No answers, no results, no comments, no any information, no support teem to response. I don'l like to write bad reviews and set a bad rating, so, please reply! Request #564630 Update 20.12.2017. Verification is completed today. I put three stars, plus one star in the hope that Bittrex will improve and solve all its problems.

So, it has been 23 days with my support ticket 438690 open for a name mismatch. I lodged it twice on the same day by accident, and the auto generated trouble shooting message, along with a mildly berating one telling me not to open more than one ticket are the only responses that I have received. No amount of following up has gleaned any response, I find it confusing that if you email support directly then you get another auto generated email asking you to submit a form, with no mention that it is bad to do so if you have already submitted one. (also, anything sent to this email does not reach support, or so it says.. Except that my email ended up in my activity on support and were flagged as closed). I understand longer than usual 7 days wait times, trouble is that no follow up has been made. It's really sad as I love trading on this platform. Where it falls down is the service. My bad for accidentally not checking chrome autofill but seriously 23 days, and I can still add funds and trade, just not withdraw. I will amend my rating if this gets fixed, but as for now I am pretty appalled. EDIT: They fixed it. And also shortly before apologised. Grateful. This site is not a scam like lots of reviews allude to, it just takes a bit of extra time due to the crazy high demand.

Great interface, huge range of currencies to trade. I'm struggling with an issue a few people have raised, insofar that I'm waiting for my account to be verified. It seems as though the Support Team is struggling with an increase in ticket volume, so patience is key. Ticket 460756: I will be sure to leave a more favourable review when my account is verified.

Name Mismatch problem. I can not believe how stupid I could be to prefer BitTrex. They get it easily while sending money but they do not give it back. This is literally a fraud. If you do not allow him to withdraw, why do you allow him to deposit. Send you an e-mail saying your problem is solved, but my problem is still going on. One problem with Bittrex is that it allows to deposit crypto currency without verification, but to withdraw it, you must be verified. I realized that only after a deposit. Automatic basic and enhanced verifications failed. Ten days have passed and I got no answer from their support. I'll leave a better review once and if my request is resolved. Update: they answered my request, my journey isn't over, but at least I know the direction. Updated the rating to 4 starts.
