I had cataract surgery on my right eye at SpaMedica centre Wakefield yesterday afternoon 8th April 2021. All the staff were more than welcoming, capable, each introduced themselves explaining what they were doing and what I'd need to do, making sure I understood correctly. Must have been ten or more people that help me personally. I also found the booklets I was given before and after very helpful.

Had my catarat procedure this morning and from the beginning to the actual procedure everything and everyone was first class, professional and caring. I was made to feel at ease totally, which is so good as I was very apprehensive about the whole procedure. I cannot rate the whole experience any higher. My complete and utter thanks to everyone concerned.

Mum recently attended for her cataract procedure and wanted me to feedback on her behalf From being referred, assessment and the procedure being undertaken all was done in a professional manner, with clear concise information throughout. The only negative was a delay on the day being booked in for 9.20am, it was nearly 12 noon when Mum went for her procedure, fully appreciate that these things happen and do happen All staff throughout were friendly, warm and welcoming and put Mum at her ease through all the stages and processes Well Done Everyone and thank you for looking after Mum and provding such excellent care

My husband was extremely apprehensive about his cataract operation as he has many serious medical conditions which leave him physically vulnerable and prone to anxiety. I was allowed to stay with him for every part of the procedure except the few minutes it took for the surgeon to operate. From start to finish everyone was so kind, professional and reassuring. He is more at peace with the thought of having the second eye done in a few weeks. Full marks all round.

I had Cataract Surgery on my left eye at the SpaMedica Centre Sheffield. Prior to to the operation I was apprehensive but the team at the centre were excellent they explained everything well and the treatment was outstanding, I could not fault anything and with another Cataract developing in my right eye. I know exactly where this will be carried out.
