I have tried several plans - this is easiest and very tasty so far. Customer Service walked me through making some changes today, with great patience and listening. Definitely like the service.

When my mother developed Edema and had a difficult time finding low sodium meals that would help her recover, I found Bistro MD and subscribed so I could send my mother low sodium, delicious, easy to prepare meals. For almost a year my mother has enjoyed delicious, balanced, low sodium meals and has been healthier for it. I am so thankful for this service.

I like most of the meals (they are better than a couple of other food services I've used in the past), but you shouldn't expect great restaurant quality. However, they are apparently having a problem with their computer system. I have tried to pause shipments and did so in the past, but this time I cannot access my account. When I try to log in, no luck. I tried to change my password (even though it was correct), and got a message that there was no such email address in their system. This is the same email address to which they sent me notices that a new shipment is coming. My freezer has no more room. I have contacted Mastercard to contest the most recent charges. Hopefully, that will work and get their attention. It's a shame that this snafu has occurred. They seem to be good people, and I suspect they are just overwhelmed now. Update: June 8, 2023 Now that their computer problems are behind them, the service is great. No complaints. I continue to purchase meals from BistroMD and I'm very pleased.

Leaving this review for anyone who is seeing the very recent poor reviews of BistroMD. I have been a happy customer since July 2021, and indeed the recent service HAS been problematic, but the company has been doing a website transition that has been way more problematic than they expected. When I got through to customer service after having a problem with my order for the first time this past week (and yes, they are currently hard to reach because of the recent problems), they immediately took care of me. I fully believe that this is a great company that is having temporary issues, because I’ve actually experienced it as a great company whose products and service have been incredibly helpful to me. If you’re just thinking of starting, maybe wait a week or two to give them a little more time to fix the website and the associated issues, but please don’t judge the company permanently based on its December 2022 issues. Once they get this resolved, I trust that it will again be the excellent company with excellent service that until now it has been in my experience.

I have trouble with diets in that I have to add so many items. This includes everything needed to eat in one day. Couple of pounds down already. Food is pretty good, couple of items on the spicy side but can always remove items you don't like and change the menu every week.

I'm autistic and stressing about what to eat is.. well.. stressful. My husband cooked for me every night but I gained weight and wanted to be on a healthier diet. I love BistroMD. I was actually scared to try it because of negative reviews but I'm glad I did. I personally have liked all the meals and especially breakfast. I feel full and can hardly finish my meals. The snacks are great. A huge bonus is that I can now easily prepare my own meals and my husband can have a break. I'm very happy.

I started the bistromd signature plan (other plans to choose from) after I had a heart attack, and needed to lose weight. I didn't know what to expect. Well it WORKS. Not only does it work, it's delicious!!! I have lost 20lbs since I started in January 2022. I would recommend this to anyone struggling with their weight, and want something that will work.
