Hi Joseph! In December 2022 we transitioned our website to Shopify and the transition did not go smoothly. The difficulty canceling seems to be a consequence of the Shopify transition. I'm sorry you had a negative experience with bistroMD. In December 2022 we transitioned our website to Shopify and the transition did not go smoothly. This is likely the cause of the poor customer service you cited in your review. However, these issues have since been resolved. The keto plan is called Keto Flex. BistroMD's health ethos does not support highly restrictive diets, like the traditional keto diet. Our Keto Flex plan is bistroMD's lowest carb program that is still sustainable for the longterm. Each meal on the Keto Flex program has an average of 15-20g net carbs per meal. We absolutely stand behind our product and we have never taken advantage of people in the nearly 20 years that we have been in operation.

Our customer service department received so many calls and emails, which led to long hold/wait times. I'm happy to report that all issues have been resolved now and things are back to normal.

I'm sorry you experienced failure on your first order. In December 2022, we updated our website to Shopify with the goal of enhancing customer experience and usability. However, the transition did not go smoothly and nearly all customers encountered issues. Our customer service department received so many calls and emails, which led to long hold/wait times. BistroMD has been in operation for nearly 20 years and this is the first time we encountered a situation of this magnitude that caused our customers to receive such bad service. During that period, our online system was pretty much non-functional as you said. Most members encountered issues similar to what you reported, which led to an inordinately high volume of customer service calls and long wait times. I'm happy to hear you like the food itself. Now that our online system is fully functional, you should have no issues customizing your delivery schedule to accommodate your work travel. Unfortunately, the transition did not go smoothly and many customers experienced issues similar to yours. All of those issues have now been resolved and both our company and website are back up and running. Since 2005, bistroMD has been helping people lose weight and get healthy just by eating doctor-designed, chef-prepared meals. I can assure you that we are not an irresponsible or dishonest business.
